Prologue (Rewritten)

I remember the time when this war never happened. But it did, and I lost many in the process. I remember the time when the war was first foreshadowed upon us, through political tensions between countries, conflict in another nation, and the desire for more power between leaders.

Before all this war thing happened. I was an Animation YouTuber by the name of Jaiden Animations, I posted weird quirky stuff about my life and barely got past a few thousand subscribers, and my videos barely took off, I often worked in many jobs just to get the bills paid I wasn't privileged either.

James was a struggling artist like me we collaborated once on a video, and the rest of my friends Emily and Dominic joined my life when James introduced me to them. Emily was an intense lover of Anime, and Dominic was just a nice guy to hang around, to say the least. We got together and made many fond memories together.

However war itself is my worst enemy, I remember the time when the most feared would happen, another world war. During 2030 however, I just learned and knew that the Pentagon has secretly funding the development of a Anti Nuclear Weapons Program named Alcor by the Fourth Column this whole time which theoretically would detect any nuclear missiles being launched across the globe, which would give the United States a chance to react once one of these missiles are detected flying towards our country.

The war broke out many causalities occurred across the globe and countries desperate to try and fill up their army with soldiers, which resulted in my friends now my tank crew being drafted into the Army under the Civilian Drafting Act of 2032 to ensure that the United States was maximizing its victory in the war.

In 2036 as the war escalated across the globe, many countries began to use their nuclear weapons, the world would be saved if not for the Alcor program still being in beta during the war. Which resulted in worldwide devastation on both sides of the conflict. Fortunately, the Alcor program was still able to save the world from nuclear annihilation. The nuclear aftermath was the reason why both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer. My dad didn't make it, and I always treasure spending time with my mom after the war, since you know, I don't want to lose everything after I lost a lot during those past years.

Fortunately one of my videos blew up, which is about my military experience, my channel began to grow exponentially, and I ended up making YouTube as my job, and I can use the money I have gotten from YouTube to help pay my mother's hospital bills. The world was once again at peace after the war, and countries were able to recover from the war, and slowly by slowly the damage was undone. And slowly my life began to improve. However in 2049, as climate change threatens mankind, and resources become scarce the world as I feared once plunged into another war. World War IV.
