Cherries

A young boy of 17 years of age was sitting with his grandmother on the bench outside their countryside house. 

Gm - Yaa! Hoseokie, don't eat them before washing!

Taehyung, the 17 year old was laughing seeing his hyung get scoldings.

Gm - Tae, go and wash it for him. And you go wash your hands and face, full of dirt.

Tae nodded and took the basket full of cherries inside.

'Taehyungaaaaaa hoseokiee yaa come here you brats' Their mother called

'Yes mom' tae said obidiently

'Hobi, take this money and buy 2 packs of juice and some bread and eggs from the market' she handed him some notes.

'Are any guests coming over?' tae asked curiously

'Yes, your appa's friends are coming to pay respects. Behave well. Come back soon' she said and went inside

They ran outside and walked to the market.

'Yaa! Jeon Jungkook i told you not to eat so much. You look like a pig'

'Eommmaa let me eat, i didn't have anything since morning' a 16 year old said.

'Jungkook! Comeon get in the car or we are leaving you here'.

'No no i am coming!' he ran out and sat in the car.

'Appa, when will we reach?' he asked

'Umm...an hour. If God blesses us we will reach soner' his father said

'Ahh! Oh God can you please reach soon? I want to see the sun set in the fields today. Thank you. I promise to be a good kid to my parents' he said that in his mind and kissed his hands which were joined.

They soon reached there and greeted Mrs Kim and her mother Mrs Min.
They sat in the veranda talking about the past.

'Aunt do you have a cherry feilds here?' jungkook asked

'Ahh, we have one of our own. Do you want to take a look at it?' Mrs min said

'Yes!' he said excitedly

'Ahh, aunt not now. He is allergic to dust. If he goes late in there, i fear he will get some scratches. Jungkookie let's go tom morning hmm' Mrs Jeon said and pink jk's cheeks.

Hobi and tae came and left again after keeping the food on the table.

The next morning -

'Jagiyaa did you see your son? I can't find him' Mrs Jeon said coming down from the stairs.

'look in the washroom or some where there. He must have slept somewhere' Mr Jeon suggested

Just then the 3 boys entered inside while laughing. Jungkook was in the centre with a basket full of fruits and flowers.

'Eomma. Look what i brought. Hyung helped me' jk said smilingly

'Jeon Jungkook! Do you know how worried i was! Go and take a bath now! You smell like the sand in the fields'.

Hobi and tae made a disgusted face but anyways let it slide.

They sat together at the breakfast table. While tae, hobi and grandmother had their Korean food the others had bread and eggs.

'hey, do you want to try this?' tae whispered to jk.

'what is it?' jk asked him

'eomma made gimbap. It's like rice cake. Try it'. He secretly placed one on jk's plate.

Jk smiled after eating it and they shared a hifi.

Around noon -

'Jungkookie, come say bye to eommaa appa!' Mrs Kim called him from inside

Jungkook came running out and hugged his parents. They were leaving him here for a week until they found accommodation in the city.

Jungkook had summer vacations so it wasn't a problem.

A week soon passed by and then it was time for jungkook to leave.

Tae was really unhappy with it but hobi cheered him. They together made a letter for him and put some of their pictures.

'Dont forget us okay. My name is Kim Taehyung and he is Kim Hoseok. Repeat it okay so you don't forget it. Or write it in your notebook' tae said handing him the letter.

Jungkook nodded and hugged them before running to his parents who were waiting in the car.

'Byeee hyung!' he shouted from the car and then left.
