Chapter 6:Class and Team

After waking up the next day Dinah got herself ready for class with professor port weird name but she decided to go with it and get dressed for the day

After getting dressed Dinah heads to class leaving her temporary room since she would be joining a team hoping for one she could get along with and are okay about what she is.When Dinah got there quite early and there was only a couple noticeable features with him being his size and mustache but she didn't say anything.

Port:ah miss Xiao Long nice to see you early today

Dinah:well I was in temporary accommodation anyway how is your day going

Port:understandable and very nice not many students ask about their teachers so thank you now we have to wait for everyone else.

Slowly the class was filling up team by team as team RWBY and JNPR was nowhere to be seem till right on the bell both teams charged through the door.

Ruby:sorry were late

Port:Don't worry just make sure it doesn't happen again

Ruby:right

Ruby and her team then spot Dinah as she waves at them as they get confused and sit next to her for an explanation after class.The lesson was boring it was just Port going into a rant about his expeditions whilst he was younger till lunch where Ruby and Weiss had an argument about Dinah, Ruby, Blake, and Yang were sitting at a lunch table whilst Weiss was nowhere to be found they talked about a lot of things they all helped Ruby become accepting towards the leader role and then Dinah told them that she'd be joining an already established team in which they helped calm her nerves.Whilst they were talking Dinah noticed something and pointed it out it was something saying a meet and greet for parents and they have already been notified about it Dinah got up and looked it over apparently it's just to have parents know about the teachers and the members of their children's teams it would allow Dinah to hang out with Tai since she never called him dad and he respects her wishes and doesn't force it onto her in addition to that the Schnee's probably have better things to do so that's good but then Dinah thinks about her parents and the possibility for one or both to be there and probability for things to go wrong since she never got over how they treated her and she still has nightmares about them and done some drastic things like when Tai saw bloody bandages on her wrists after a week of being there after her cutting session and then broke down in his arms as Ruby and Yang were told to try and help if they ever needed to.

Ruby:hey what are you looking at.

Dinah pointed to the poster she was reading and then Ruby sees it

Ruby:oh

Dinah:yeah Tai's coming

Blake then appears and also sees the poster

Blake:this is probably going to end horribly for Dinah no offense

Dinah:non taken if our "parents" are coming then yes it probably will end horribly and I believe they are so wish me luck when that day rolls around.

Yang:alright enough of this we will talk about this later but for now combat class so let's go

Combat class was more of an explanation on what they will be doing in the class till about half way then people started fighting in one-on-ones to get used to the arena and everything when Dinah fought she had her hair in a bun so she could activate her Faunas features without people noticing.

Dinah was called down and she was facing Yang so they both were in for a good time Dinah engaged quickly and powerfully with a strong aura infused right hook which Yang blocked with her left gauntlet allowing her to punch forward as Dinah used her left arm to redirect the punch just as the gauntlets went off Dinah then slid her feet out during her lock taking some of Yang's aura as she punched up dealing damage to Dinah's aura.Seeing the damage dealt to her aura Dinah did a risky move by activating her Nakoma features increasing her aura and with the bun hiding her ears and her tail doesn't come out of her clothes this confused everyone except team RWBY and JNPR as they knew what Dinah did but for everyone else it looked like Dinah's aura went back up and with the advantage of being able to since incoming attacks she soon beat Yang but offered her up and was sportswomen like even though she classed her as Dinah's sister.Throughout the lesson Weiss looked like she was in thought and didn't participate in any fights.After the lesson Dinah received a message with a room number on it so she went there after a bit to make sure people are there and she knocked whilst being incredibly nervous til the doors open to reveal.

Ruby*looking inside*:Ok, Ok Yang I got it*she then sees Dinah*Oh Dinah why are you here

Dinah:well I got a message that this was my dorm room so here I am

Yang:Oh so that's why we have five beds now instead of four and bunk beds that are actually bunk beds and a note.

Dinah:should I ask and what's on the note

Blake*on her bed reading*:not if you like what's left of your sanity amd Yang read out the note

Yang:Ok it says

Dear Team RWBY

I understand that it is the start of the year and you may not be

Comfortable with each other but I am adding a new team mate to your team your team name is now Team RWBYX pronounced 'Rubix'

After some time everyone got ready and went to sleep except Ruby who was studying till she fell asleep till Weiss came in and woke her up to say sorry and say that she will be the best she possibly can which brought a smile onto Dinah whilst she slept.
