Chapter 9:The Cats and the Bird

After having an argument within Ozpin's office Kali and Ghira were thinking of different things but at the same time the same thing how to try and reconnect but they knew it would be hard.With Dinah after talking with Ren and Nora about parents and the what is better when talking about growing up in the mess hall.Whilst Dinah was engrossed in conversation with Ren and Nora the hall opened but Dinah didn't pay attention until she felt someone hug her that being Ruby.

Dinah:Oh Ruby what brought this on

Ruby:well Blake's parents are arguing with dad about what to do with you with Ozpin and Winter there as things are getting heated since Ozpin has already broke his mug in anger at the situation and that is when me, Yang, Weiss, Winter and Blake thought it was a good idea to leave Ozpin's office.

Intercom.could Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, Dinah Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna come to the infirmary please

Dinah:do you think they

Ruby:I believe they did

Nora:do you think there was any leg breaking

Ruby:Oh sorry guys

Ren:It's alright and I believe you should go

Ruby/Dinah:right

Dinah and Ruby then left and went to the infirmary and on the way met up with Yang

Yang:hey

Ruby:hi

Dinah:hello

Yang:so you heard it to

Dinah:yep

Once they got into the infirmary Dinah saw Blake along with Kali looking over Ghira who looked like he was just thrown out of a window and Tai had a black eye along with a couple of cuts on his face as Dinah can piece together what happened.

Dinah:*sigh*dad who threw the first punch.

Ghira:wel-

Dinah:not you

Tai's eyes widen as he knows that Dinah just called him dad but noticed the underlying venom underneath her words

Tai:um we didn't fight right

Ghira:um yeah we didn't

Blake:then why did I find you after being chucked out of Ozpin's office widow

Everyone turns to the men in the beds with bandages on then as they looked down.

Tai:I might have hit him in the face first

Yang:why?

Tai:well everything got heated and then he was talking about taking you back and making back up with you and and I kept refusing till I just got to pissed till I punched him we then got into a fight and he used Ozpin's mug as a weapon but anyway we got a bit heated and I then chucked him out of the window

Yang:Oh my OHM

Ozpin then enters looking a mixture between angry and upset and was joined by miss Goodwitch who was very angry.

Goodwitch:what were the two of you thinking causing a fight within Ozpin's office and then sending one of you through the window

Ozpin:Glenda please

Goodwitch:what is it Oz

Ozpin:I understand both sides of the complication and because of that Tai you will being paying for a new mug along with you Ghira this is for me don't worry about the window Glenda has already taken care of it

Goodwitch:much to my displeasure

Ozpin:Ok and as a way to see if you are going to do what you said Dinah and Blake will be off tomorrow so you can do as you please then

Dinah was going to argue along with Yang, Tai and Ruby but Ozpin beat them all

Ozpin:I am aware of the situation and I believe that this is the best thing for the family in time since it wouldn't be good for her and help her get over her depression and self harming

Blake:It might help but I'm against it

Tai:I agree with her

Ruby:I want her to be better and if this helps then ok

Yang:I don't want Dinah to do this but it might help her get over the bad of her past so I agree

Blake:I would like to spend some time with my sister and get to know her after all this time.

Kali:we are truly sorry and we want to prove it to you so allow us to treat you to dinner in Vale before we go

Dinah:I really don't want to go but fine only if Blake is going.

Blake:I will to reconnect with not only you mom and dad to and see if we really deserve forgiveness or not but focus on getting dad better for tomorrow in Vale

Kali:right dear and Dinah I promise you I won't waste this chance me or your father

Dinah:I don't know what to believe so I won't say anything on the matter

Kali accepts this and nods her head as Dinah left the infirmary and find out it is the end of the day so she heads back to her dorm and saw Weiss in there.

Weiss:Oh hello Dinah

Dinah:hey Weiss

Weiss:why did you, Ruby, Yang and Blake have to go to the infirmary?

Dinah:*sigh*you know that my dad and "father"were having an argument about custody over me"Weiss nods her head"well that argument escalated into a fight and it ended when Tai or dad as I called him chucked my father out of Ozpin's office window

Weiss was shocked about the situation becoming that violent

Weiss:And this all happened after you had an anxiety attack after being revealed as Blake's sister but a fight was possible as they were arguing a bit outside our dorms with Tai?is it Dinah nods having to be held back by Yang and Winter to stop him from trying to fight them in the halls so it was all building up

Dinah:well I have to get ready for tomorrow since I'm going to be going to lunch with them so please hide any sharp razors or small knives tomorrow whilst I'm out since depending on how it goes I might want to cut myself again'

Weiss looks at Dinah with wide eyes after she said that almost so casually like there was nothing wrong with it.
