Honestly, my inspiration for this was that picture^😅. (Btw I know chigiri is not a girl, it's just first impression at the start).

"Please wait!" I said running up to the coffee shop and knocking on the glass door. "Can I just get a coffee real quick? Please!"

I was closing my eyes knocking on the door aggressively and desperately till I felt the door opening. I bumped my face onto their chest.

"Oh shoot! I'm so sorry-"

I looked up to the person I bumped into and she was so pretty.

"Woah- wait you're so pretty!!" I said looking at them with glimmering eyes.

I saw their face reddening at my comment. They just brushed it off and led me into the shop with their arm.

"Can I please get a f/d/n please?" I asked looking at the waitress that was serving me. "What's your name?"

They looked at me smiling gently.

"My name's Chigiri Hyoma, what about you?"

"Ohhh nice name! Mine is y/n l/n" I said smiling back at them.

I thought a second before saying my next sentence to not sound to cheesy but oh well.

"Do people often tell you that you're very good looking?"

Chigiri chuckled at the sudden comment.

"Actually, yeah I hear that some times. Thank you a lot. You're gorgeous too!" She said taking the comment very well.

"Oh! Thank you so much, I needed that... My day has been pretty shitty so far.." I said sighing.

"Ah... I'm sorry. If you want, you can tell me and I'll do my best to be a good listener!" They said. "Also, your drink is on me. You seem like a nice person, we need more people like you here!"

I smiled at the person's sweetness.

"Aww... thank you so much! You're so kind" I said "so basically, my day at work has been rough and I had to work the shift of one of my friend since their mom is very sick. I really don't mind taking her shift for those reasons but I really wonder if that's truly it... I have pretty big trust issues I know and I'm really trying my best to restrain myself from overthinking."

"Mhm.. I see. Well you see there's good and bad consequences when you have trust issues. You can be careful which sometimes can help yourself or even save you. However, you never know when to trust people which might ruin your friendship or relationship with that person." They said "I understand though. Those things usually happen if something from your past hurt you though. Are you ok?"

"Sorry for venting so much... yeah basically, my old friends used to use me for their reputation and at the end, they just exposed everything 'bad' from me and gave me rude names like 'manipulator' or things like that. Since then, I don't trust any of my friends besides if they're very close to me." I said telling them my whole story not even thinking that I said too much. It felt like I've known them forever and that it was only normal for me to tell them all of this.

Over the night, you both bonded a lot and they were really kind. I asked her to add me on socials and I  gave them my number.

"Bye bye pretty girl!" I said leaving the coffee shop for the night.

"Girl?" They said to themselves. "I'm a boy though..."

The next day, I decided again to go, after my shift, at the coffee shop close to my workplace. I scanned the shop and saw Chigiri drying the cups with a towel.
