Bruce's POV
His arms felt safe and his touch felt so warm, everyone had made up rumors that were "true" according to some people that Vance was a total jerk or a hothead. But who was this "hothead" they would talk about?
Vance?
No thats not possible.
Vance is nice and sweet yet quiet and mysterious. He's unknown but known. I've been knowing him all my life yet something about him changed
There was a era in my life were me and Vance stopped talking.
We acted like complete strangers in the hallway
Yet..
There are so many things me and Vance did and I couldn't just act like it never happened.
I remember this one day in 7th grade (the era were we stopped talking)
It was a very sunny day and I was just minding my business and switching out my books and that's when I seen Vance.
His gold hair and blue eyes shinned like diamonds.
I couldn't help but stare at him knowing that we had so many memories together
He was surrounded by his other friends but I decided to be bold and go up to talk to him, I wanted to say hi again :)
"Hi Vance!-"
"Ew what do you want you f@g" his friends said
I stood there a bit shocked at what they had said, I didn't even do anything wrong. Vance stood there shocked as well at his friends but when he tried to defend me my friends came over
"What the hell are you rejects doing to Bruce." My friend Johnny said
Our friend groups started going back and fourth all because I wanted to say hi to Vance
"Don't call us fucking rejects you fucking greedy shithead." Vance had said
I stayed quiet but when Vance had said that It was like who was he?.. that wasnt the Vance I knew since we were kids.
(Bruce had always seen the nice side of Vance)
Our friend groups left me and Vance standing in the empty hallway by ourselves.
"Vance I didn't know they would say that-"
"No. You probably did. You probably wanted this to happen." Vance said
Vance started walking off
"Why are you acting like this!" I yelled at him
He kept on walking
"Those rumors are true."
"You really are a jerk." I said
He stopped walking to realize what I had said.
