(Y/n) pov
We walked into the forest with the knife still at my throat. "What a shame kid. You had your whole life in front of you. With a nice family and friends. Too bad that's gone." The guy with the knife laughed. I still couldn't see his face but honestly I don't think I want to. It was sunset and so of course it was getting a bit harder to see. So I started slowing down a bit.
"If I have to drag your ass I will. Hurry up!" The guy tugged at my hair. 'What a bitch.' It only took a few more minutes until it was completely dark. My eyes barely adjusted but I did see a yellow hoodie. We stopped and I refused to look up knowing who it was. "You finally caught her?" One them spoke. "Yeah her parents were easy to take care of." The guy behind me pushed me a little.
Finally I looked up to the see person in a mask and a person with red eyes. I gulped. "Lets go so we can see if we have to kill this kid or not." 'Of course I'm going to fucking die.' The guy behind me grabbed my arm. His sleeves were white and bloody. They took me to what looked like an abandoned mansion. 'Oh god Alex why'd you tell me everything about creepypasta?'
They opened the door and pushed me down. I could hear many other people inside and I definitely did not want to look up. Next thing I knew absolute chills ran down my spine. I couldn't breathe properly. There was someone no something that appeared in front of me that had such a dark presence. I kept my face down but that didn't last long as I was picked up by my waist. Next thing I knew I was face to face with the slenderman.
I froze completely. 'How the fuck am I gonna survive this?!' "P-parents are dead. Friends b-basi-ically want her dead." I honestly couldn't care less what was said around me. I was scared shitless. "Seems I should give a history lesson first." Slenderman spoke. I gulped. 'A lesson? I thought he was just going to kill me right now?!' "I figured you'd want to know more about your family line before everything gets settled." He stared at me or whatever he doesn't technically have a face.
Then all of a sudden we weren't in the entrance of the mansion. We were in some sort of library. What scared me the most is it was just me and him. He dropped on the ground causing my bag to open a bit revealing the book. I was too slow as he took it. "It's been over a century since I've last seen this." He opened the book and flipped through it then threw it down. "Of course only mortals and witches can read this."
I gently grabbed it back. "You know your grandma was a tricky one. She knew all kinds of spells. Kept slipping through our hands. But that's all over. Right when she turned 50 her powers started to fade. It's a shame she wanted to turn old. She was one of the most powerful witch I ever seen." I just watched him. "W-why are you telling me all this?" I finally said something.
"So you have an idea of what I expect from you." I froze. "That's right. You live here now. You follow my rules and my orders." 'This can't be happening!' "I'll answer your questions after my explanation. Your grandmothers grandmother. So your great great grandmother. Isabella. She was the first witch I had made contact with. She was absolutely weak. No spell did any damage. I could've killed her in an instant. But every witch has a defensive spell."
"She used it and was able to get away from me. I spent many years trying to get her but she got stronger. So in order to get her I used her daughter. I was able to kidnap her but Isabella somehow got her back and placed a protection spell on her. It was pretty much a battle between us and her family kept growing. Fortunately I was able to get Isabella and because it took years to catch her I made her suffer like how your friend is."
I looked up at him. "That sickness Alex has? You gave it to her?!" "Hallucinations are a big part of it so it didn't take too long before Isabella to take matters into her own hands. I applaud her for that. She didn't want her death to be caused by me." "Suicide." I spoke. He nodded. "But then that means it should've ended. Between you and my family." He chuckled and it gave me chills.
"Do you think she was a saint? No. Definitely not. She worked with my enemy to try and kill me. I made it known to her I'd kill her whole family. It would've been done years ago if those idiots didn't hesitate!" He slammed his fist against the shelves. "You're grandma put a protection spell over you and your mother. But of course as I said before her powers started to fade. So your protection spell became no more."
"That doesn't explain why you want me then." I shook my head. "Believe it or not you have a great power. Yet you don't even realize it." "S-so you're just gonna use me for something I don't even know how to use?!" I questioned. "Exactly that. It's not like you can leave. Everyday someone will be watching you. You try to escape we'll remove something if yours. It could be a finger, or a hand, or an arm. You get the point."
I couldn't believe this was actually happening. "Since you are completely useless I will expect you to train. You must learn and memorize spells. I will test you by having you fight against another. They will not go easy on you at all. You will not be treated like a child so don't expect anybody to go easy on you." He then picked me up again and we were back at the mansion.
"For now you'll be with sally." He dropped me to the ground and was gone. "You must be (Y/n)." I looked to my right to see a little girl. She had blood all over her. "I'm sally." She hugged her teddy bear. "Can we maybe go to a place where there aren't so many people that can kill me?" She nodded at me. I followed her up the stairs and down the hall. I can't believe this is going to be my life now.
