Sorry guys! I know I haven't uploaded in forever! I have extreme writers block! I think it might be permanent... I just don't have any more ideas... :( Well here's a terrible short chapter anyways. I tried. I really did. Kinda.

Mrs. Etan stood up from her desk. She took off her glasses and held them in front of her face in that very annoying teacher-ish way. “Mr. Calderson and Ms. Flox! Care to explain why you are disrupting my class?”
Carter and I glanced at each other. I jerked my head as if to say 'do something!' but he just shook his head with a smirk on his face. I glared at him before turning around to face Mrs. Etan.
“Uh... Well you see Miss, we're in this class , and we were late because... Uhm... Because-” Carter interrupted me.
“Because I just got a phone call from my mother, saying that my dog Pickles just had a stroke. I was feeling very upset, so Maizy was comforting me.”
I stifled a snicker. Pickles? Really?
Carter shot me a look, so I quickly rearranged my amused face into a sorrowful one.
Mrs. Etan's face softened a bit. “Aw, I'm so sorry! I remember I had this turtle once, Shelly. We were inseparable, her and I. Until one day when I came home from school, and saw my mother flushing her down the toilet.”
Carter's facial expression was very amusing, considering how hard he was trying not to laugh. He somehow managed to keep it looking sad and interested.
“Oh that's terrible.” He said. “What happened?”
“She died. Drowned in her tank.” She said flatly.
I couldn't help it anymore. I burst out laughing. “Seriously, how much more ironic can you get? A turtle drowning? That is just too funny!”
Mrs. Etan's nostrils flared. “Ms. Flox! Do you know how rude it is to laugh at and make fun of someone else's troubles and misfortunes? I'll tell you! Very! Now get out of my classroom and go to the office!”
My mouth dropped open. She was sending me to the office for laughing?! What the hell! I glared at her and stalked to the door.
As I was opening it, I heard Mrs. Etan say,” You poor baby! Come and give me a hug! Come on!”
I furrowed my eyebrows. What?.... When I turned around I saw a very awkward Carter being squeezed to death by an old lady, AKA Mrs. Etan. I snorted. This day was just too much!
Mrs. Etan opened her eyes. Her smile turned into a scowl when she saw me standing there. “GET OUT!” She bellowed.
I rolled my eyes. “I'm going, I'm going,” I said and opened the door to start my journey to the office.
