Hogwarts

"Bye, mum! Yeah, Dad I will write to you! Bye love you!" I yelled at my parents.

"Don't forget to floss your teeth honey! And do wear the top I gave you on your birthday this year.Bye!" Mom said as dad and she both are dentists. How could I forget the beautiful purple top she gave me this fourteenth birthday.

Slowly the train starts moving... This all has been so strange and magical, one day a letter comes to us saying that I was selected by Hogwarts. When we sent our reply as yes, the requirement list came with directions for Daigon Alley the place from where we bought the required things. It was filled with wizards and witches, we didn't know what to do thankfully a kind witch with unusual green hair helped us out. In Hogwarts children of fourteen years of age are called first years as they start their first year at the school.

"Excuses me, please." A boy with red hair said.

I quickly hurried toward the front and found myself a compartment with a brown haired boy sitting alone. I thought I should sit here. So I sat opposite of him and saw that he kept looking around. " Are you looking for something?" I asked. " Oh, I'm looking for my toad Trevor..." He replied. Giggling slightly I pointed towards the the windowsill where the toad was sitting. "Oh thanks.." " I'm Hermione Granger by the way." "Neville .... Longbottom " " It's nice to meet you Neville.Are you a muggle born like me?" I asked.
"Oh..(gulp) No I am a pure blood. I stay with my grandma..."

We stay quite as a boy Justin and a girl Hannah join us. I take out a book named 'Magical Herbs' . I keep reading until Neville lets out a gasp. " Where did Trevor go?" He asked . "I'll help you look for it Neville." I say.

We step out of the compartment and start looking for it in the other compartments.

I step into a compartment and ask,"Have you people seen a toad or something ?" I ask the two boys, one of them is a red haired boy who was eating some chocolates and the other boy was black haired with circular spectacles ." No we haven't ..." says the red head . "Ok! But why aren't you both in your robes now? I've already changed into mine, you both better do the same. Anyway my name is Hermione Granger " I say putting my hand in front of the black haired boy. "Oh...I'm Harry Potter." says the boy taking my hand and shaking it . I stare at him open mouth "You are not the HARRY POTTER are you?"
"I am .." he says.

"Well anyway... I will change later.. by the way I'm Ron Weasely .. "the red headed boy says still eating.

"Pleasure." I say throwing him a disgusted look,"Anyway Harry nice meeting you,see you at school."

I walk out quickly and find Neville who had finally found the toad. As the train stopped at the station I took my trunk and got off. A man called Hagrid took us the first years with him .

I gasped as I saw the school Hogwarts.
