Screams and cheers could be heard as chaos erupted the city from another villain attack. The infamous villain Charm smoothly glided from building to building using their grapple hook as a group of heroes chased them.

Charm was known to seduce their victims with their smile that would drive anyone crazy and make them kill and commit crime for them.

They were both hated and loved by civilians and they have accumulated plenty of fans and haters with their charm alone and it shows through the cheers from the crowd.

The villain then fled from the scene and ran to an empty alleyway to change back to their civilian self.

"Phew..that was a close call.." They say after taking off their mask and changing out of their villain attire.

Their chest heaves rapidly as they try to catch their breath from running when their phone vibrates in their pants, signaling an incoming call.

"[Name]! Are you okay?!" They heard their friend's worried voice ring from the other end as they started to talk frantically.

"I am, calm down Kai! Why are you so worried anyway?" [Name] says after recovering from the shock.

[Name] exited the alleyway and walked back to their apartment which was only a few blocks away. Kai, their longtime friend, took a deep breath to calm himself down before speaking again.

"I heard that you were at the place where the villain attack happenedㅡ"

Their heart lost a beat for a second at his word. Has Kai finally figured out that they are Charm? Is he going to turn them in to the heroes association? Will Kai stop befriending them after thiㅡ

"ㅡAnd I was worried that something happened to you while I was not there to protect you" Kai continued and [Name] let out a relief sigh.

They smiled at his word and assured him that they were fine and were on their way to their apartment as Kai continued to worry over them like a mother hen.

At Kai's insistence, they waited for him to arrive at their home just so he could confirm that they are fine and are not dead.

While they waited for their friend to arrive, they stared off to space as they thought of their life now. Before [Name] became Charm, they were an ordinary person who had a burning hatred for heroes as they've been treated cruelly by them just for being different.

Until one day, they received an unknown package that was sent specifically for them and inside of the mysterious box was a masquerade mask and a note beside it.

'Unleash your true desire with beauty and charm♡' was what they read and they were confused.

They carefully held the mask in their hands and they felt electricity run through their veins and a surge of power engulfs them as they put the mask on. [Name] tested out their new found power and instantly knew what they were going to use it for.

Crime and chaos follows them everywhere they go and nobody can stop them.
