Lee Riverstone

For some inexplicable reason, I felt a sense of safety wash over me as we entered the beautifully crafted building. The atmosphere was bustling with activity, but my attention was focused on the man who had rescued me from Albert's grasp. As we made our way to the third floor, I couldn't help but steal glances at my savior. Up close, he was even more imposing than I had initially thought—taller and broader than Albert and Leon, with a powerful build that hinted at regular training.

Yet his physique wasn't overly muscular, and his style was understated, but his confidence and dominance were undeniable. I found myself drawn to it. His hand remained on my back, a gesture I wouldn't normally tolerate, but with him, it felt strangely comforting.

As we approached the office, I realized that getting a job here might not be as challenging as I had anticipated—likely due to his influence. When our eyes met, I quickly looked away, my face flushing with embarrassment. He smirked but said nothing; his silence speaks volumes.

He led me to the director's office, his gentle tone laced with a hint of seduction. 'This way, sunflower.' My cheeks flushed as I smiled and entered the office. The director greeted me warmly and began the interview, but my focus wavered when he mentioned Ken's Association. Was he serious? 'You'll be going to Ken's Association to gather evidence on the recent killings and report back to me. Be discreet.' I felt a shiver run down my spine.

This wasn't a simple task; it was like walking into a lion's den. 'Sir, if I may ask, why trust someone like me with this?' I pressed, my concern growing. 'You're going to work there as their security. I've made the necessary arrangements,' he replied, his expression unyielding. I pushed on, my questions intensifying.

'But, sir, this sounds like a suicide mission.' The director's frustration mounted, his voice rising. 'Blaze will be with you. You must solve this problem. No excuses.' Did he just say might'? I wondered, my heart racing with trepidation.

As I left the director's office, I was greeted by Blaze's imposing figure. He stood with his arms folded, his muscular chest flexing with each movement. I felt a thrill run through me, and I couldn't help but admire him. 'Damn, he's so fine,' I thought, my mind wandering to forbidden places. But when I approached him, he laughed, and I realized I had spoken out loud.

My face flushed with embarrassment as I apologized for my candid remarks. Blaze simply shrugged and guided me outside, his expression turning stern. 'Follow me, and stay within eye view at all times. You must follow my orders without question.' The softness in his eyes vanished, replaced by a rugged intensity that left me breathless. I understood the gravity of our mission and the danger that lay ahead. Ken's Association was not a place to be trifled with.

I saluted, 'Yes, Captain,' as he continued to brief me with his back turned. We drove towards Ken's Association, and I spotted Leon unexpectedly. I smiled, and Blaze noticed, his expression concerned. 'Is everything alright, sunflower?' he asked, his voice softening. I smiled again, touched by his concern.

'Yes, Blaze,' I replied, using his name as he had requested. He glanced at the rearview mirror, then returned his focus to the road. 'So far, the two gang leaders are Scorpio and Python,' he began, sharing his intel. I listened intently, but my mind wandered back to the mysterious nickname.

Sunflower' seemed familiar, yet I couldn't quite place it. Each time I tried to recall, my memory seemed blocked. Frustration mounted as the investigation led to dead ends. No one knew what Scorpio and Python looked like, making our mission even more challenging.

The sudden gunshot shattered my reverie, sending my heart racing. 'Get down now!' Blaze yelled, his voice piercing the air. I didn't need to be told twice; I hit the floor, my life flashing before my eyes. The sound of gunfire was a harsh reminder that I was in grave danger, and my instincts kicked in. I scrambled to safety, my mind racing with thoughts of survival.
