That girl was really insane. Why didn't she moved out of the way when she knew there was this truck rushing towards the way? Pffft. She's really a clutz.

It was already seven in the evening when I got home because of what happened lately. I get myself ready for mother's interrogation when I'll go inside the living room.

"Where have you been, mister?". And as expected.

"Having some stroll outside.", I replied frowning. She's always like this when I got home late.

Oh wait? Was it already late?

"As always. The dinner's ready."

"I'll go later. I need to call Louie."

Then, I went upstairs and entered my room. I opened my laptop and video called Louie.

It took three minutes before this bastard answered my call. Oh, as always.

"Hey, I'm sorry, dude. Mom's having some errand.", he reasoned.

"Pfft. How's life?", I asked innocently.

A devilish smile came upon his face. It's like he got my point.

"Come over the house, dude. Therese's having a party."

"A party? For what?", I wonder.

Therese is Louie's younger sister. They're really attached and close to each other. If you didn't know they were siblings, you could have the thought of them as a couple.

"Oh, dude. Did you forgot it? Today's Therese's 15th birthday!", he yelled.

"Oh, right. Okay. I'll come."

"Josh! Dinner's waiting!", mom shouted.

"See you, dude. Mom's freaking out."

Then, I closed my laptop and went downtairs.

Wow. Did they really waited for me? Is there a miracle around here?

"Sit.", mom ordered.

Her eyes throws daggers on mine. She's now really mad.

"Mom, Louie's sister's having her 15th birthday now and I was invited."

Dad, Mickey and Miles looked at me. Whoa. Wrong move.

"So, you'll skipping dinner?", mom asked with her one eyebrow raised.

"If you don't mind, mom."

"You're not going, son.", father said.

Everybody went back to eating their dinner. Yaya Thelma gave me a plate and placed in on the place mat.

"But-"

"When I said you're not going, you're not going, understand?", father said as his eyes were filled with warning.

I don't have a choice. I wasn't in the mood to eat dinner with them. I usually eat by myself since something happened at the past.

"Don't you dare leave your back on the food, Josh.", father said.

I know his going impatient now. But, no one can stop me. I stoop up from my seat and went upstairs.

I laid down on my bed thinking what to do. I picked up my phone and dialed Louie's number.

This damn guy! Pick it already!
