Our Date

I still can't believe hyunjin asked me on a date.

"Do you not have anything to do?" Chan asks me. To kill time I've been playing basketball ball with him all day after we came back from the group going out for ice cream.
"Actually , I do have to be somewhere at
6:30" I try play it calm.
"Are you going in this" he asks and I realised I'm in a random hoodie and sweatpants.
"No, I need to go get changed before I go obviously, I look a mess" I explain to him.
"Then you might wanna go now, it's 5:35" he shows me his phone and I freak out a bit.
"Oh gosh, I have to go chan I'm sorry" I grab my phone and run off to the house.

"Jesus slow down Julia"I bump into lee know.
"Sorry, I just have to be somewhere soon and I need to get changed" I say running upstairs.

I put my phone on charge and look through all the clothes I have in my closet. Hyunjin told me that it was a casual hangout but basically a date. So it's no like dress fancy type thing. Nothing big. Thank god. After maybe like 10 minutes I find an outfit and change into it.

Simple, comfortable and pretty.

I take my phone just as the percentage turns 100. I look at the time and it's 6:19
I really did take quite a while getting dressed. That's when a text message gets sent to my phone. It's him....

Hyunjin: I parked my car down the street from the gate so that the cameras don't see us. If that's alright?
Julia: yeah it's okay. I'm on my way now.
Hyunjin: can't wait to see you.
Julia: me too. See you in a second.

He probably thinks I'm chilling right now but boy am I freaking out inside. I know this boy for 3 weeks and I really like him. I've spent every morning with him for the past 2 of those 3 weeks. I also couldn't help and look at those pictures I took of him on my camera when we went on our first walk.

I walk out the gate from the private residence for the group and walk down the road extremely nervous. I see hyunjin's white car parked , I take a deep breath and walk up.
I open the car door and he welcomes me in. I take a seat and close the passanger door behind me.

"Thanks for coming" he smiles at me as we make eye contact.
"Ofcorse" I smile back at him.
"How are you?" He starts of the car.
"Depends if you want the truth?" I speak knowing damn well that my ass can barely concentrate on life because of him. He's so pretty.
"Truth would be good" he looks over at me.
"Nervous" I all I say, nothing else just that one word.
"Why nervous?"he questions knowing he's making me nervous.
"You know, I've never been on a date" I explain to him whilst overthinking it.
"Really? Does that mean you've never had a boyfriend?" He asks
"I have but things weren't really, relationshipy, if you know what I mean"
I explain to him.
"Oh, sorry" he apologizes after he hears my tone of voice change.
"No, it's not your fault, he just wasn't a good boyfriend I guess" I express and I see him slightly smile to himself.
"How come, if you don't mind me asking" he says as we stop at a red light.
"Well, we were good friends for about a year prior and he liked me ever since we started being friends right, that was when we were 11, I told him that I wasn't really wanting or ready for a relationship because I was too young, later when we were 12 he asked me you know to be his girlfriend and I said yes, I liked him but it wasn't like a big big like, anyways, the first 3 months we dated we hung out alot in school and we would always be on call after school, but 4 months up too 8 months together, he wouldn't answer my texts or calls, he barely talked to me, basically got distant and I was dumb and thought nothing of it and just blamed myself and eventually my best friend at that time explained the situation to me and I broke up with him" I explain to hyunjin and he's just speechless and looks shocked.
"Sorry, that was quite a bit" I feel guilty. I did just speak for about 3 minutes straight.
"No, no ,it's fine, I'm just shocked at how you call that a boyfriend, because surely that's not how a boy should treat his girlfriend, especially you, you're such a wonderful, funny , pretty girl." He explains to me. Hearing those words made me smile. He called me PRETTYYYY. I'm litterly going to faint.
"Thank you, like alot, but we did technically date so I guess that was my first boyfriend, there's nothing I can do about it" I look back down.
"You deserve someone better anyways" he cheers me up.
"Do you know anyone?" I tease him, but his reply makes me think a different way.
"I do know someone, I think ya'll would look good together, I'm also pretty sure that he would treat you a trillion times better than that ex of yours" he explains as he parks the car.
"I wonder who that could be" I play dumb knowing damn well hyunjin was talking about himself.That makes me blush, quite a bit actually.
