Thank You for Everything (Eremika Fanfiction)

Chapter 1: Realisation

It was a really sunny morning, the sun shined bright on my face, it felt so good. Oh yeah by the way, my name is Mikasa, Mikasa Ackerman, I'm currently 16 years old. I got dressed and got ready for school. When I got down stairs, I cooked my breakfast, ate it and got out of my house. I had lived by myself since I was 12, because my mother and father died in a tragic accident, they were murdered by two maniac killers, when they were about to kill me I ran, I ran as fast as I could. I saw an abandoned house and ran in, I locked the doors. That's how I ended up here. I was greeted by two boys who are now my best friends, Eren Jaeger and Armin Arlert, they mean very much to me since they're are my "family members". As we walked to school we talked about random subjects, but I couldn't help but to loosen up the special red scarf that Eren gave to me when we first met at school. We talked all the way to school. We chatted to Armin when we got into the classroom, until...

"Guys, BE QUIET! Sasha, turn around and stop eating Connie's delicious food!" shouted Hanji, our crazy teacher.

   We all sat straight and looked at her.  Then a short girl with blonde hair tied in a ponytail walked in.

"Meet the new student! Annie Leonhardt."Hanji said with her usual crazy voice.

    Annie looked at Eren for a few seconds and blushed, and when she looked at me, she gave me a death glare. I think she knew that Eren and I were best friends, maybe she likes my best friend. I looked at Eren, he was looking at me. He blushed and immediately looked Armin. I also looked at Armin, he was blushing so hard that he was pretending to read to hide it; And I thought does Eren have a crush on me? If that is true, he will be fighting with horse face and midget Levi!!! And why is Armin staring at Annie? Why is he blushing? Does he like her? I noticed that horse face and midget Levi were staring at me, I knew Levi was too cool to blush, so I didn't care about him and I certainly didn't care about horse face either, so I looked back at Eren, he was scowling at something, but I didn't know what it was, I assumed it was Annie, since she gave me a death glare and Eren saw it. I guess even if Annie likes Eren, Eren won't like her. I knew there was something that I couldn't trust about her... There was something about that death glare... What if she wants to kill me... It's not possible, is it? Of course it's not possible! This is a school! You can't kill someone in school, right? Whatever... Just don't think about it... But I couldn't stop thinking about it! I kept thinking about her, about how she looked at me, how she will kill me, and how I will die...

"Miss Ackerman," said Hanji in a polite voice

"ARE YOU LISTENING?!" she half asked half shouted

    I shook my head, because I thought she wasn't going to take me seriously, but she did! The first time, the first time, she ever, ever, ever took someone seriously!

"Well, I think you should listen to Annie! You should be polite! She was talking about her past! Her history!" She said with a laugh

"She was just saying she was from the southern district of Wall Maria!"

Then she saw my face, she knew that expression. I turned away to look at Eren, and he was crying, since she talked about where he lived once, where his father might be... I wanted to hug him so badly and tell him that I knew how he felt... But I couldn't... Annie will try to kill me... Annie would kill me and I would die so tragically, so tragically like my parents, except I was killed by a human, not a titan, but I heard that she was also a titan, a titan shifter...
