chapter 17

Nialls pov

We arrive at the mall and we buy Mia a lot of new clothes and shoes. We go to a caffee and sit down. "Why do you guys do this for me?" Mia asks while she looks at the menu.

"Cus we treat people with kindness!" Harry says. It isn't true harry! You all hurt people! It doesn't matter a lot anymore. "Can i have a apple pie?" Mia asks shyly. "Yeah sure! Want something to drink?" Liam asks. "Uhm..." she doubts a little. "Can i have a hot coco?" She asks shyly again. "Always!" Louis says.

We drink and eat something. Cops walk in the mall and we just stay chill. Mia doesn't and i wonder why. They walk up to us and look at Mia. "She needs to go back to her parents," a cop says. I look at mia. "I don't wanna go back!" She yells.

"Never yell at a cop Mia. It is okay," i say. "Sir her parents are abusive and I love to adopt her!" I say looking at the cop. Oh i know when people get abused. I knew it from Liam from the beginning.

Liam's pov

Niall is lying to the cops? Again? Why is he doing this? Oh shit she might get abused! He knew i got abused! Damn he is cute.

"You still have to come down to the station to sign the papers," the cops say. "Lets go then!" We pay and leave. Louis talks to Niall and Mia looks at me.

"I never told him that," she says to me. "I never did either. Niall is a good person and knows when people are in trouble if we like it or not! He will always see the good in people and he is serious about adopting you," i tell her.

Everyone is in the car and we drive down the station. When we arrive i see a man and woman. "Where the hell have you been?" The woman asks slapping the back of Mia's head. "Told ya? Child abuse is illegal and she is 8!" Niall says.

"She's 6!" The woman says. Mia doesn't answer. "Look ma'am i am adopting mia rather you like it or not! She's 8 years old and loves hot coco and apple pie!" Niall says. "He can't do that!" The man says. "It is up to mia right now. Besides i just saw your wife hitting her which is indeed child abuse,"

Mia looks at me surprisedly but also a bit happy. I am gonna kill them! You don't touch a little girl. "Niall you have to sign here and you have adopted Mia," the cop says. Niall fills in every paper work. I never understood Niall. He can be an bad ass but he never does.

We can go and Mia hugs Niall tight. "Thank you!" She says.

Louis's pov

This kid isn't safe! She isn't! Why can't Niall see that? Her parents are our biggest enemies and he just took the one thing that kept us alive! We basically cleared war to them. Shit! Thing is only Zayn and i know this!
