Sheriff Douglas
I've interviewed almost all the people that were close to Amir ever since Nova and her boyfriend gave their statement. But many of the people I met with didn't like him, who would have thought Amir was this bad of a person.

Last on my list was the neighbors of Amir and his parents, I called them and asked if they would answer a few questions and they agreed. When I knock onon their door, it quickly opened to two middle aged men.

"Hello sheriff come on in." The bald white man with a beard says cheerily guiding me inside. The other man looked to be mixed with curly brown hair cut short he was slimmer compared to his partner and his nose held a pair of glasses for his eyes, he gave me a soft smile to greet me as I walked in, I could already tell who was the most how do I say it, Enthusiastic in the relationship.

"I'm Jonathan and this is Jason." The curly haired man introduced himself and his partner.

"Nice to meet you both," I smile.

Looking around the house I noticed how pastel their house was. There were different types of decorations to match, everything seemed very extra and very, Gay.

They offer me tea and I politely decline as they sat me down at the dining table.

"How close would you say you were to the Williams family?" I ask.

"I would say we were close enough to be considered friends, you see our neighborhood had a book club and we would meet every week to discuss a book but honestly it turned into a social gathering. Everyone claiming to be too busy to read a book, I mean how busy can a rich white women without jobs be? Me Jason and Celest were the few that actually read the books and talked about them, I would say we were the closest to her out of all the neighbors." Jonathan says.

"And would you all talk about anything eles?"

"Well, there was this one time she came with a bruise on her left eye, she had tried to cover it up with makeup, but we could still tell from the swelling. We asked her about it in private after everyone had left and she told us everything. While she cried, the makeup dripped away, and we saw a dark and purple bruise around her eye." His eyes were starting to tear up as he finished his sentence.

"What did she say happened?" I ask, writing everything he said down.

"She told us that her husband had hit her the other night, but she was afraid to leave because she would lose everything, she also felt guilty for not being able to protect her son Amir." Jason says with a sympathetic look.

"Did she say what she couldn't protect him from?"

"No, she was so shaky that she could barely finish her sentences we inferred that he was going through the same thing as her." Jonathan says.

"What makes you say that?"

"Well not too long after Celeste came to use crying telling us she had come home to her son all bloodied and beaten she didn't tell us who did it, but we already knew." Jason nods.

"And you're sure it was Amir's dad; did she even say he was there to begin with?" I couldn't write down their assumption until I knew for fact.

"No, she came to us for comfort she barely could talk from crying so much, but I know for a fact it was him I mean who else could it be?" Jonathan says.
"Maybe he got into it with someone he disliked."

"No Amir was a good kid who could dislike him let alone beat him up like that?" Jonathan asks us and himself.

"Well, we do have something else to tell you, the night Amir went missing a car was parked a few blocks from our house we of course took notice of it because our house is very secluded. There wasn't a house around us for about nine to ten blocks that house belonging to the Willams."

"What kind of car was it?"

"A black Range Rover."

If I'm not mistaken the car that was parked in front of the Desir's house was a black Range Rover, could it have been Daisuke?

"Did you see who got out the car?"

"He was a tall Asian boy couldn't have been older that eight-teen, his clothes were all black he even had a black mask that coverd his nose and mouth so we couldn't see his face that well. He has to be the culprit," Jason says.

Her boyfriend was Asian and tall he fits their description but there's a lot of people that could fit this description. If he killed Amir there was a clear motive but I had to get evidence if I wanted him arrested.

"Do you have any evidence to prove that he was here?"

We have a security camera that got his cars tag in it, when he drove off it's blurry, but I swear that you can see Amir in the back seat of the car."

"Can I see the video?"

Jason nods and quickly pulls out his phone to show me the video. I could clearly see his tag but once he drove off everything in the video went blurry.

"If I slow it down, you can see Amir's face." He says, going back to show me the slow version of the video.

In the mist of all the blur I could see the shape of a face, it looked like him but I could not tell for sure and in court this would definitely be questionable. But if I ran the tag and it comes back as Daisuke's it would be enough to arrest him, given he seemed to be the last person with Amir berfore he dissapeared.
