Maya's Little Sister

Chapter 2

Molly's POV

Tw: Mentions of abuse 

The last thing I remember is Lane kicking me while I was on the floor and now I am in an aid car with a woman I don't recognise I can hear that she is on the phone to someone luckily she hasn't noticed that I have woken up. I've heard the voice that is on the phone before but all I could hear was " Yes okay I am on my way now" I know where I have heard that voice before, that's Mayas voice. Wait how does this woman know Maya and how does she know that I am related to Maya. I then felt the aid car come to a stop which means we are probably at the hospital.

 " Hey Molly  your awake how do you feel" the woman said to me. " I'm okay but how do you know my name" 

" I work with your sister Maya, she's meeting us at the hospital by the way and your father has been arrested by the police and we are taking you to the hospital as you were unconscious and just to check that you haven't broken anything".

 All I could do was nod, I was extremely scared as I don't know whether Maya is going to be angry as I haven't spoken to her in quite awhile. As I was being rolled out of the aid car this doctor met us at the entrance of the ER.

 " Carina"

The woman Maya works with shouted at this doctor who was stood at the doors. 

" Andy what do we have here".

That's her name Andy I think I remember Maya mentioning that she works with an Andy to me before I think she was the old captains daughter. 

" This is Molly we found her being abused in the middle of the road, she was unconscious for about 10-15 minutes and has only just come around"

 " Okay lets get her into bay 2 and page Shepherd" 

Mayas POV

As soon as I got that phone call I raced into the beanery and said to whoever was in there that they are in charge until Gibson or Hererra comes back. I can't believe that I've let Molly live in the house with him and that this is what he has been doing to her, how long has this been going on, is this the first time he's hit her or has he done it before, different thoughts running through my head as I raced through the streets of Seattle. I come up to the hospital car parked and race out of the car and sprinted into the ER. I saw Andy stood there I quickly rushed over to her.

" Where's Molly, where's my sister"

" She's being treated right now Carina is with her but she doesn't know that she is your sister"

" Okay and thank you Andy truly, thank you for looking after her I promise you I'll keep you updated you and Gibson can go back to the station now we will be okay, your in charge I might come by later if Molly feels up to it but can you please be acting captain"

" Of course Maya, are you sure that you don't want me here"

" No I think that we will be okay, please don't say anything to the team just yet tell them that I had to go away for a family matter and I'll explain everything to everyone soon"

" Okay I will"

" Thank you "

I then went flying through the curtains all I wanted to do is see for myself if Molly is okay. As soon as the curtains opened I saw her lying there, she looked so much different since I last saw her she looks thinner and when I looked into her eyes she looked so distant and closed of it was scary and the complete opposite of when I saw her last. 

"Maya"

" Molls I'm so sorry that this has happened"

Carinas POV 

Andy had come and dropped of this poor teenager who had clearly been very badly beaten up, she looked very far away in her eyes I tried talking to her and asking her what had happened but you could clearly see that she wasn't able to hear me. 

" Bambina can you hear me". I needed to check that she could hear me. 

Then she looked over to me and that when I saw her face although it had blood and bruises on it she looked very similar to Maya almost like twins. It was very odd to see someone look so similar to Maya and that's when I remember Maya saying that she has a younger sister but she doesn't see her anymore, she rarely brings up that topic as I think it's very difficult for her to talk about just as I was going to say something Maya comes running through the ER.

For the first time I heard the young woman say something she managed to just squeak  out a little " Maya" this then confirmed that this is Mayas sister. Maya looked so upset and when she saw her sister completely she teared up.

" Maya, Bella it's okay" I whispered to her while rubbing her back, she quickly whipped her head around to face me and she smiled slightly.

" Carina this is my sister Molly and Molly this is my wife Carina"#

" Hey Carina nice to meet you I was looking forward to meeting whoever stole Mayas heart away" she smirked.

Mayas POV

I was surprised to see Carina there I hadn't even noticed her at first. When I heard Molly's reply I could then see that not much has changed, I don't think I have ever smiled so largely. I knew that I would have to ask the question.

" What has happened Molls"

" Ummm where do I start "
