Alex took a bite out of her cheeseburger causing a piece of bacon to fall out of her burger. Alex checked her surroundings looking around to see if anyone was watching her before she picked the food up off her lap and quickly stuck it into her mouth.

Dean tried to hold back his laugh but failed miserably. "I don't know why you're laughing Dean you do the same shit" Sam joked.

"Sammy you're the messiest eater at this table" Alex spoke, mouth full of food. "Yah when I was seven"

Sam and Dean finished telling Alex everything happened in the twenty years she's been gone. "You know if my math is right that makes you thirty. Your old enough to be my dad Dean-o" Alex laughed

"I'm seven minutes older than you shut up" dean rolled his eyes

"So how did dad bite the dust?" Alex smiled, popping a fry in her mouth. Unbelievable Dean thought She's actually smiling at our dads death.

"The demon that killed mom got him before he got it" Dean mumbled. Alex shrugged as she took a sip of her strawberry lemonade. "That's it. A shrug. You just found out dad died and all you do is shrug" Sam scoffed in disbelief.

"He was an abusive asshole," Alex said, turning to Sam.

"Okay he wasn't perfect lexi but he was still are dad" Dean argued

"He abandoned us on the side of the road when we were six. Sam was only two" Alex slightly raised her voice. "He had a case, you know that. And he was coming back" Dean reasoned and Alex couldn't help but laugh.

Not because it was funny but because Dean was still making excuses for their father even though he's six feet under.

"Sam was sick. He left us on a curb where prostitutes were walking down the street and drug deals were being made not even ten feet away from us." Alex said, growing more angrier by the second.

"You may not believe it, but dad was trying to protect you," Sam said, trying to calm the situation. "Yeah well, I guess the werewolf that killed me didn't get that memo" Alex hissed . "You... you remember that?' Dean stuttered, voice softer now.

Alex looked over at her brother, his eyes full of regret and guilt. She knows that he blames himself for her death. If only Dean heard the werewolf sneaking up from behind him maybe Alex wouldn't have had to die that night.

"You gotta understand dad did the best he could with what he had to work with" Dean said trying to change the subject from anything but the current topic.

"Sam could have died," Alex yelled, standing up in her chair grabbing the attention of everyone in the diner. Alex didn't care, she was furious. She couldn't believe Dean. "Oh you're being dramatic" Dean groaned.

Sam tried to calm his siblings in embarrassment as everyone watched them. "How can you stand there defending him?" A scoff left Alex's lip. Dean opened his mouth to say something but Alex didn't let him speak.

"Oh that's right I forgot you were always dads favorite. In his eyes you could do no wrong" Alex taunted. "But me...I was always on the receiving end of his anger" Alex says before walking out of the dinner.

Alex stirred awake at the sound of Sam and Dean voice. She just laid there staring at the ceiling listening to whatever nonsense they were talking about.

"What's with this job?" Sam asked. "Stratton, Nebraska. Farm town. A man gets hacked to death in a locked room inside a locked house. No signs of forced entry" Dean says handing Sam a newspaper.
