Plot: y/n in the real world after the whole ideal of before, y/n cant remember anything, not even the person she fell in love with, but he remembers

y/n, l/n, woke up in the hospital, told to be a survivor of a meteor that hit your city, laying in the hospital, no memory of all the tragic things that had happened in your life in the borderlands, you don't remember the friends you made, the enemies you made, the people who sacrificed their life for you, the people who tried to kill you, and you don't remember the man that fell in love with you, the man you had many memories of before, and the man that you saw get shot to save so,embody, even though he was heartless usually, you lied by his side as the king of spades was near, he was defeated, and you saw your friends go to the last card game, soon later, you saw fireworks with him, and then you woke up, of course, no memory of the events mentioned before.

You walked down the halls and see all the other survivors, you look around and can't help but feel familiar with some of the people you see, even though you have no memory of ever meeting them, walking to a table and sitting down to rest, the doctors let you walk around, like some other patients, but the medication made you extremely tired, you heard a voice from afar.

"y/n?.." you heard, you heard your name, and of course, in response to hearing your name, you turned to the unfamiliar yet familiar voice, seeing another patient, with blonde hair, and dark eyes, staring at you.

"huh?" You say confused on how they knew your name, he walked over to you.

"Your here," he says happily, you smile at him raising a eyebrow, trying to be nice, but you were confused on what he was saying.

"Do you not remember?" He asked, sounding confused after seeing your reaction.

"Remember what? Did I know you?" You say, feeling sorry if you did know him, that would just be mean.

"It's chishiya? Remember?" He tries jogging your memory, but to no avail.

"I'm sorry, I don't," you say sadly "but how do you know me?" You ask, maybe he could help you remember.

He was quiet for a moment.

-Chishiya's pov-

I didn't want to tell her how we actually knew eachother, she would think I am crazy, I can't believe she doesn't remember, I feel guilty, maybe I should lie.

Maybe we could start new, like the first time we met, but it's not, and I'll only know that.

I feel a sinking feeling in my stomach, even if we do ever became what we were, it wouldn't be the same, because she doesn't remember all the things we did for each other, but..I can't help but see she already looks happier then before, maybe, I can actually get to know the real her, and we can live normal lives, and I can forget like her, but I feel like I can never live past something like that, and how she doesn't remember the core memories we have of each other, but I have to live with something like this.

I smirk at her, trying to play it cool, but I can't help but wish things were already back to before.

-normal pov-

"I was your lover?" He says trying to make you remember something, you laugh.

"I had a boyfriend?" You ask, smiling at the thought, you didn't remember that, but maybe that checks out, he did see, happy.

He makes up a lie, a lie you would know was a lie, " yes, we were walking together when we saw fireworks in the sky, and then this," he says, it's untrue, you two met in the game, you'd saved him actually, that's how he found you so attractive right away.

"I remember the fireworks!" You say, happy you could remember something, you couldn't remember the whole day it happened except the fireworks, he smiles.

He tells you stories of you two, all the stories being from when you two were in the borderlands, but he left out all the violent parts, to make it seem like real life, you listened happily, you had no memory of a significant other, but the way he talked so casually with you, his voice and face, seemed so familiar too, you think he wasn't lying, he tells you story that makes you flushed and laughed, although you have no memory of him, you already liked him, the stories he said felt like you could remember those, like you were there and could remember, but you also couldn't, however he tells you one story that made you perk up.

"Hey I remember that happening!" You say, hoping to jog your memory more, he perks up too, happy about it.

"I thought that was a dream though!" You laugh a bit.

"No it happened!" He said frantically, in hopes for you to remember how you first met, how you played together, and hoped you sit with him when he was lonely, and tell jokes that for some reason made him laugh, even though they were horrible.

You two talked on and on, he'd sit and tell your guys life stories that seemed so familiar to you, yet, like I said, it was just at the tip of your tongue, you couldn't remember, but you enjoyed all the stories, they seemed so true, everything he said about you was something that you'd actually do, he said you told jokes a lot, actually before he said you told jokes you were just about to say a pun, which made you quiet for a second.

Chishiya, a name so there to you.

So familiar.

So regular.

Something that was quickly easy to remember, like you were saying it for years, chishiya would plan on maybe later in your guy's relationship, he would tell you the truth, but for now, he just wants to know if you can remember on your own, as he tells you the stories that actually happened 'days' before, which wasn't actually days before in the real world, sense you guys were only gone for around a minute, but it was days for you two.

You'd smile at him, you did believe him, that you two dated and things like that, because he told you things that nobody would really know by looking at you, he said where you worked and things like that, he knew where you worked because in the borderland, a lot of your skills came from you knowledge of your work place, he also said you joked a lot, and you did, without even releasing it till he said it, he said your favorite colors, and foods, and how you two made your favorite in your favorite color, which was actually kind of difficult, but hearing him tell you the whole story made you burst out laughing, you felt like you knew him, actually, you felt like you knew a lot of people around you.

Later, you guys were let out the hospital, chishiya was let out first, and he waited for you, and when you two were out, it's like you were always together, chishiya worried because he thought maybe you wouldn't love him as much as he loved you, because he loved you from the dangerous bonds you two created, but you loved him for the bonds of when you first, maybe you'd leave him, but he had trust in you, and he knew he'd never leave you, and he also knew the you in the borderland, and the you in the borderlands wouldn't leave him, so what's different about you here? That's right, nothing, and he loved you still, even for not remembering.

He had faith in you.

Faith you won't leave him.

Faith you'd remember one day.

Faith you could eventually love him to the same extent to how much you loved him in borderlands.

And eventually in the future.

All that would be the case.
