The Prince ran through the halls of the palace, his heart pounding in his chest. He had to reach Farah before it was too late. He had to warn her of the Vizier's treachery. He burst into her chamber, out of breath and wild-eyed.
"Farah! Farah, listen to me! The Vizier, he's not who he says he is. He's the one who released the Sands, who turned everyone into monsters. He's the one who's been hunting us this whole time."
Farah looked at him skeptically. "Who are you? What are you talking about? The Vizier is my father's trusted advisor. He's been helping us since we first entered the palace."
"No, Farah, you don't understand. He's using us. He wants the Dagger for himself. He's going to kill us both to get it."
Farah crossed her arms. "That's ridiculous. Why would he do all of this just for a dagger?"
The Prince sighed, his mind racing. How could he make Farah understand the truth? Then, he remembered a private word she had told him during their time in the tomb. He took a step closer to her, his voice low and serious.
"Do you remember that night in the tomb? When you told me about your dream of a garden in the sky? That's the word I'm talking about. No one else knows about that. Only you and I do."
Farah's eyes went wide. She could hardly believe what she was hearing. Could it be possible that this stranger was telling the truth?
She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that there was only one way to find out.
"Tell me your story, quickly. If it is truthful, I'll know. I am good at seeing through people's lies. If you are honest, than...
"Thank you!" Prince relieved a sigh and started telling her their adventures together. It was greatly told but not in a slow and glorious tempo he preferred but it seemed to make her like it. At the end she nodded.
And it was good he told the story on time! Because at that moment...
The Vizier entered the chamber, a cruel smirk on his face. "So, Prince, have you come to surrender the Dagger to me?"
The Prince stood his ground, the Dagger of Time at the ready. "I'll never give it to you, Vizier. You're a traitor and a monster."
The Vizier chuckled. "Such bravery, Prince. But it will do you no good. I have the power of the Sands on my side."
The Prince and the Vizier clashed in a fierce battle, their weapons clanging against each other as they fought for control of the Dagger. Farah watched in horror as the two men fought, each determined to come out on top.
In the end, it was the Prince who emerged victorious, plunging the Dagger into the Vizier's heart. The Vizier let out a final, tortured scream before collapsing to the ground, defeated.
Farah breathed a sigh of relief, finally realizing the truth of the Prince's words. She looked at him, admiration in her eyes.
"I never would have believed it, Prince. But you've proven yourself to be a true hero. You saved us all from the Vizier's evil plan."
The Prince smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "I did what I had to do. And I'd do it again in a heartbeat."
Pause followed. He was ready to jump to the tree and go away but stayed for a moment. Then he asked:
"So, do you believe me?"
She looked at him skeptically for a long moment.
