Chapter Two: I've Seen Your Face

Sapphira sat up with a gasp in alarm as she held her hands to her chest. She quickly looked down at her hands watching as the frost quickly disappeared much to her relief, it was the first time her powers ever acted out against her will and it terrified her.

Call it cleshà but it was true, a power you had control over your whole life suddenly acting out against your will would make even the strongest of people terrified. It was like in Sapphira's opinion that the stone was calling out to her powers for something that caused that light which made them act out the way they did.

The only thing that sounded logical to Sapphira at this point given logic is hard to prove on something even with her powers which went against all human logic.

Sapphira finally noticed the terrain around her, it was a desert like ground with large boulders and rocks around and not a sign of life anywhere. Immediately Sapphira sprung up to her feet as she looked around, while the sky was the most beautiful thing of the land with how clear it was being able to see all of space from the surface itself the land still had the heat waves emitting from the ground of the desert wasteland.

Sapphira groaned in annoyance, "Of all places I somehow fucking teleport to it had to be a place where I can feel like I'm melting, why not a frozen wasteland next time?" Sapphira asked aloud to no one in frustration.

The bluette sighed as she fixed her hoodie, she knew well she wasn't getting anywhere just standing around and she rather not find out the bad things in this unknown region. Immediately Sapphira began to walk in a random direction as she tried to look for even the smallest sign of civilization.

After what felt like hours to Sapphira, unfortunately she had yet to find any sign of even the smallest of civilization. Suddenly a large golden light appeared from a crater a few feet in front of her causing the bluette to immediately rush to a rock to watch.

The source of the light rose from the crater revealing to Sapphira was a beautiful golden mask in the eye of a large storm that almost seemed magical to Sapphira. The mask glowed as suddenly a figure began to form from it of a figure now wearing the mask, from the silhouette she could make out a more masculine muscular figure in a robotic sense as two shoulder guar 'spikes' in the pattern of a scarab beetles pinchers. The figure was suddenly electrocuted by golden lightning from the mask which brought Sapphira back to Frankenstein, or at least Monster High's version with Frankie on Freaky Fusion.
