"Natsu!!, please! Don't go! Stay with me!!" Lucy screamed as the never ending tears fell to the ground. Lucy was on her knees and wearing tattered up clothing. The previous battle dieing down, but for two people, one is still fighting. Natsu turned back, only to be pained with the sight. He looked somewhere in the distance, unable to look Lucy in the eyes. Lucy looked up with blurry vision, but was able to read his expression, and make out his figure. Natsu could feel the tears welling up, he could smell the salty tears on Lucy's face. Lucy tried to get up by it hurt to bad, her wounds, cuts, scrapes, and body aced with pain. She could feel a burning sting egnite the cuts and scrapes as the cold air hit them. So she decided to stay put. But will never surrender to let the one she loves leave, she has already lost a dear loved one, but this time if he left, she would really be alone. Natsu stayed silent and little tears escaped as he smelled the blood dripping of Lucy's body.
"Natsu?" Lucy asked in a hushed voice, barley a wisper, but loud enough for his dragon slayer hearing to pick up. She glared at the man, waiting for a answer. Natsu stayed silent.
"Natsu answer me! Please I know you can hear me!" Lucy yelled at him, now pleading for him to say something. Natsu, stayed silent.
Lucy gave up, she stood up with all her strength, ignoring the burning pain in her body. Natsu could feel her boring her eyes into him. But he couldn't choke out the words. He was too scared that if he spoke, he wouldn't be able to hold in his tears any longer. If one tear fell, then the rest were sure to come. Lucy saw he was holding back, but she didn't know what. Lucy studied his figure, his hands balled into fists, the biting of his lower lip, the hair covering only his eyes casting a shadow, and his trembling body. Lucy remembered this stance. Without another thought she knew he was holding back from crying. Lucy managed to find enough strength and started to walk over to the pink haired mage. Natsu was so busy fighting back tears he didn't realize she was walking towards him. Until he felt petite arms wrap around his neck, and a gust of wind that smelled of vanilla and strawberries. Natsu knew it was Lucy, but was still shocked none the less. Natsu hesitantly hugged her back, once he felt the loving warmth coming off of Lucy's body, he hugged her tighter. Not wanting to let go. Lucy smiled at this, she felt bad smfor yelling at him earlier. She felt a hot water like substance on her sholder. It took her a second but when she felt Natsu trembling, she knew he was crying. She hugged him back tighter, and Natsu sobbed louder.
"I'm sorry." Natsu finally choked out. Lucy didn't want to say a word, even though she was confused, she let him continue before asking any questions, or saying a single word.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't able to protect you. You lost a loved one and I wasn't there to protect or comfort you. I'm so sorry that your body is in this state because of me. I know you will never forgive me, that's why I have to leave." Natsu spoke as if he wasn't crying, but the hot tears streamed down his grace with no restraint. Lucy chuckled to his suprise. He was going to say something but Lucy beat him to it.
"Natsu, you really are an idiot." Natsu pulled back and looked at her smiling face. His heart skipped a beat and he lost his breath for a second. Lucy put her hands on his cheeks.
"Natsu, none of this was your fault. It was not your fault Aquarius died. It was mine and mine alone, yes it pained me to see her go, but she said that she did not mind, she did it all for me and I did it all for Fairy Tail. I would do anything for Fairy Tail, so it was a honor for me and Aquarius to sacrifice something for someone we love. But even though her key is broken, she is not dead, she is in the Celestial world, the constellations, and in my heart. I will always have her with me in my memories, just the same with my mom and dad. But I'm not truly alone Natsu. I have Fairy Tail, and you and Happy! That's all I need to be happy! For all these wounds I am happy to hold. They resemble that I am not afraid to fight for my guild and I am proud to have them. Like I said, I would do anything for Fairy Tail. Even if that means to give my life, I would be truly happy in the end. None of the events that happend today are your fault. None of the wounds are your fault. None. Don't worry about me Natsu, I will never be alone if I have Fairy Tail, or you, most importantly. But will feel so alone if you left me. So don't. I never had a reason to forgive you, you didn't do anything wrong in the first place. But if it matters so much to you, I have already forgiven you. With no questions asked. So wipe your tears away." She smiled that angelic smile and took her gentle fingers and gently wiped the tears off of Natsu's face. Natsu stood star struck of her words. With his unbelievable sense of hearing, it would be impossible for him not to hear it. He felt butterflies and his heart beat stopped for a second once she put her hands back on both his cheeks. She looked directly in his onyx eyes and smiled a gentle smile. He could see the care washed in her chocolate brown eyes and felt relived and relaxed a little. She took a deep breath before saying a sentence long awaited for.
"Natsu, I love you so. Stay with me." She closed the gap between them and sealed their lips. Natsu was bot even shocked, but relived that she finally kissed him. He kissed back with so much passion she almost fainted. With just that one kiss, they both felt the love they shared. They felt as if time has stopped and the only thing happening was the kiss. Once Lucy felt the brush of his tongue on her lower lip, she blushed. She gladly opened her mouth and she felt on cloud nine was his hot tongue in her mouth. Natsu loved the taste and they felt even more in the stars. They were so busy with each other, they didn't even realize that the entire guild had been there the entire time. So stunned they never said a word. Some were even crying the felt it so beautiful. They always knew that they loved each other, they were just waiting to have them find out. But they never knew they were capable of this. Even Jellal was there with Meredy. Meredy was the one crying but he was on the verge. Natsu and Lucy finally separated and they took deep breaths for air. Natsu smiled at Lucy.
"I love you too. Finally I know you feel the same." Lucy blushed a little by that comment but brushed it off once he gave a small tender kiss on her lips. Lucy smiled brightly and she hugged him tight. Then they heard some people fall to the ground with some sobbing. The broke and looked to see half the guild suprised and the other half either on the ground crying, or standing up, still crying.
"T-th-at was b-beautiful!!" Mirajane wailed being comforted my a shocked and impressed Laxus. They entire guild (including Jellal and Meredy) shed at least one tear. Master was sobbing and Mavis giggled. Mirajane was so happy for one of her ships.
"Finally NALU!!!" She screamed and everyone else cheered 'NALU!!' With her. Natsu was wearing a smug grin knowing they saw the whole thing. Lucy on the other hand was battling Erzas hair color. It eventually died down and everyone congratulated them about the new couple. They partied and some more confessions were made and they partied some more. By the end if the night Mirajane was the happiest. Her ships were sailed.

And one that she didn't know would even happen. But was so happy it did, everyone else for that matter too. MiraLaxus. But Natsu and Lucy were so happy, finally together they both thought at the same time and tangled their fingers together. In the end they were all happy. Except for Jet and Droy because Levy was taken and a certain Iron Dragon Slayer made sure of that. Lyon went home disappointed because Juvia was finally swooped up by her prince charming. *ahem* exuse me let me refrase that. Her naked prince Elsa. * high fives Natsu back stage* And most of all, Erza and Jellal FINALLY had their kiss. Of course Bixlow, Elfman,and Romeo confessed but they found it cute when Romeo did, suprising when Bixlow did; but was no shocker there when Elfman did. They all already knew him and Evergreen were dating. It was an embarrassing moment for them, eh, they'll get over it. The important thing is, everyone went to sleep happy. And Natsu was still happy when he went to sleep with Lucy in his arms and a sentence burned in his mind.
