I follow her up the stairs to a closet in the hall, she opens it up and hands me a towel. She said "follow me I'll get you some of my dads clothes unless you can fit mine". I laugh and say " hey you never know maybe I can I'm pretty petite". She laughs and says " if your petite then I'm fat lol".
She digs clothes out of her dads closet for me, she turns around and hands them to me. I take them and say "thanks and I'm really sorry again for what happened earlier". She gave me a sad smile and says" don't apologize if it wasn't for you I'd be in the hospital or worse so I'm grateful". I say " I'm just glad your ok", I turn and head to the bathroom, I enter the bathroom and close the door. I get undressed and turn on the water I hop in and wash myself.
When I finish I turn off the shower and grab the towel I dry myself off and hang the towel on the rack. I get dressed in her dads shorts and a t shirt. I open the door and see her in her pajamas she says" come my dad said you can sleep downstairs for the night since it's raining outside". I nod and follow her downstairs she sets up pillows and blankets for me on the couch.
I sit down and she sits next to me we turn on the tv and put on Halloween. As we're sitting down her dad comes and gives us popcorn. He says " I'm headed to bed kids don't stay up to late ok even if you have a short break from school". She says " understood dad don't worry we'll be ok and won't stay up to late".
He heads upstairs and we turn back to the movie from the corner of my eye I notice her slowly inching closer to me. Next thing I know she's right next to me so close she leans over a bit and her head ends up on my shoulder. I try not to panic as I feel my face burn, I see her smile a bit but I don't move in case I startle her. Halfway through the movie I feel her hand on my arm I tense up a bit but try not to let her see. I'm sweating right now, I'm not used to physical touch that doesn't involve beating me so it's a new feeling. She whispers quietly" hope your ok with this I'm just shaken up from earlier".
I swallow whisper back " I'm fine don't worry your safe just watch the movie and relax ok". She turns her head and looks up at me I turn to her and after staring for a few seconds we slowly move our heads closer to each other when all of a sudden we..... to be continued
