All she needed was a friend

always crying

Laying low in silence

No one ever bothered asking why

All down in our pride

Teasing her all day

Begging, but we would never let her stay

She was my team mate for the summer project

I gave her all the work to do

Time for submission but she wouldn't pick her line

Got to her room but not in time

A slit in her neck

Blood all over the bed

A piece of paper poking out her pocket

Guess what the letter said

All she needed was a friend
