Pain struck her mind, her hull burned, and water rushed through her hull.

Her ears rang, her vision blurry and unfocused her mind numb and her boilers thumped explosively at the back of her mind, she can feel water rush on her legs the cold liquid mixing with a warm honey like substance, her mind wandered unfocused unable to comprehend as memories flooded her conscious mind, something jostled her head bringing her back to reality, her arms being pulled back, ice cold wind hitting the back of her head, her dark hair whipping across her face all the while the honey like substance dripped down, her glazed eyes peered down her hand scraping her legs, she feels numb, warm liquid stuck to her hand, she brought it up inspecting the sticky liquid, crimson red with hints of black ichor, 'oil' , 'oil and blood' her mind supplied through the haze of numbing cold

She feels her body slow and then stop, voices calling out a name, her name she realized, she feels her body get lifted from the cold ocean surface, two pairs of hands carrying her, she hears sobs and cries as she was carried to somewhere, a voice called out, desperate and distressed, "Fubuki!" she hears, the voice laced with anguish and despair, booms and crackles resounding on her eardrums, 'crack' she hears, at the corner of her vision she sees an eruption of flame as screams and cries echoed throughout the burning field

A thundering crack followed sounds of canon fire reverberating on her ears, she winced as the woman carrying her flinched as a muffled sob escaped her -savior's?- lips, another voice called out this time not to her, she turned her head up wincing as her hull creaked and groaned at the action, a mop of pink hair filled her vision, she hears shouts laced with anger, the woman, her brown haired savior screamed at the pink haired girl, her eyes flicked towards her, tears streaming down the girls face as she screamed

She feels herself get lowered on to a soft surface, her body sinking into the warm mattress, she feels herself sigh, she hears squeaking, wheels she presumed, as she was pushed through the thick armored doors of the building, the sounds of battle and the whirring of planes growing fainter and fainter until it became imperceptible amongst the hurried steps around her, the movements settles and she feels and small prick on her arm, numb as her body may be, her minds slows and her breathing hitched before she sank into darkness

--------------------------

Fubuki stirred her soup uncaring as it splashed over the rim and into her blanket, white light reflecting off the bowl the glare blinding her worsened only by the white walls of her room, she clenched her fist her nails piercing her skin, forcing her eyes shut, a sob wretched her body as tears fell from her face, anger and grief, laced through her mind as she thrashed, throwing the tray aside and into the floor, her bowl breaking and shattering as its contents spilled out, she feels numb, another sob, she tries hard not to cry but she can't, she's alone now, another sob, she scream in anguish thrashing in her bed, her IV drip dropping into the floor with a crash

She hears the door open with a bang two girls rushed to her side, they hold her close assurances to her ear, desperate to soothe their friend's pain, but she hears none of it, refuses to hear any of it, Mutsuki pulled out a cloth wiping Fubuki's face, the destroyer sat on the bed pulling Fubuki close and hugging her tightly, 'It's going to be okay' they said, 'she's going to be okay' they said, 'it's going to turn out fine' she hears, she lashed out pushing the girl off her, lies, it's all lies, she's never going to be okay, she's never going to get better, for her sisters are dead their hulks laying at the bottom of the sea never to be seen, their hulls rotting and rusting as they laid under the cold crushing depths, their deaths imprinted into her mind, their screams of pain, their face curving into horror, eyes filled with tears, terror flashing amongst their fogged eyes, their hands reaching out for help that she was unable to give

She's never going to be okay for she failed, and now she's all alone, never to be reunited with any of her kin

She wails
