"WHAT!?!" "SSSSSHHHHH...." Silly me keep on forgetting we are on the plane, I'm just shocked of Sakura's findings. I lean in and whispered "How did you find out? Why didn't your parents let you know sooner? Like this is a big deal!" Sakura try to smile, while holding her hands up... "Bubble... and I'm confused as much as you are Ming." "Oops, sorry..." I leaned back in to my chair, and Sakura started to tell me ALL THE QUESTIONS that we both are confused about. Sakura didn't know about it till she was ten years old, after her mom passed away her father became more in to his work. He keeps on hiring nannies and try to keep her busy to forger it all, but she couldn't let that go. So she sat down with her father and told him to tell her, she felt very confused and conflicted of everything. Her father told her "When the time is right..." which she didn't want to hear that, so she got the courage to tell her. She felt if she didn't know now, she will never find out. So her father broke down and came out, telling how her mom wasn't the perfect person he keeps on saying. Her mother had kidnapped her when he was away on a work trip, and he got caught in a storm. The weekend trip turned to an six week snow strom, and he couldn't get back in time for any family gatherings. So out of spite, her mother went to Japan and kidnapped me from a loving family. Her father didn't know it till he got back, and he got a call from the government. He try to reason with her mother, but it was no use. So she ran off with Sakura, and the government almost got her father in to big trouble. But when Sakura was five years old, after all the abuse and everything from her mother. She finally got a chance to stay with her father, he had adopted her and never really said anything about it till her mother's passing. Sakura never hated her adopted father, just more of annoyed she had to find out this way.
"So that's how I'm starting the journey..." I was floored of all the information, here I'm worried about learning people's culture. And yet, I made a new friend who NEVER even had the chance to have her own culture! Now I feel like a jerk, it got me thinking... If I was in her shoes, how will I starty journey? So I stand up and went to grab a couple of Japanese sodas, came back and sat down. "Well Sakura, today on our flight of twelve and a half hours. We are going to learn all about the Japanese Culture!" Sakura giggled and pulled out a big book of all about Japan, smiling. "I have started ahead of you!" As we laughed, we started to talk about Japan. What I learned from my mom, and helping Sakura finding out who she is truly about. After six and forty-five minutes of talking, we both started to get sleepy. As the flight attended came over to help us clean our little area, and placed blankets and pillows in our area. My brother already passed out, spreading his arms and legs to get comfortable. Ugh, my brother is such an incredibly rude. I rolled over and looked at my phone, as it reads "9:10pm" just little more time to touchdown to Japan.
It felt like a couple of hours but we woke up to the speaker saying... "We now almost Tokyo, Japan. Please collect your items, and make sure to have the place nice and tidy before you leave. Enjoy your stay in the beautiful land of the rising sun!" I jumped up and woke Sakura, of course she was up earlier more excited then I am! My brother of course giving problems with the flight attendance like he normally does, but he got up. After getting everything together, and we sat up for the plane to touchdown. Sakura started to get really nervous, we landed and I turned to her and asked "You ok?" She nodded. We got up and made our way to the waiting area, Sakura looking around for the person that supposed to pick her up. "I see our sign!" I yelled, and Sakura replied "I see it too!!" We all ran to the guy who was holding not only my brother's and mine, but also Sakura's! "Wait, you coming with us!?" The guy smiled and said "Welcome to Japan, Ming, Quin-Lun, and Sakura. You'll be in the house of Yuzu, they are super excited to see you!" Sakura and I jumped up and down, in happy excitement that we won't be splitting. My brother cutting threw in a grouchy mood, "Ok yea.... can we go? I'm starving!" As me and Sakura smacked him in the arm, we both said "Why you have to be so rude!?!" The guy laughed and waved his hands, "Girls, girls... he is just a growing boy, my name is Yuzu Teto. You can call me Teto, I'm one of the family members that will be watching you guys till the end of the summer. We got a lot of experiences to do threw out the summer, and from what I understand..." Teto looking at Sakura and smiled, "You'll be finding out a lot about your family, and you just started your journey with one of your family members today." Sakura with big lighted up eyes, hugged Teto in a big embrace. "Now let's go and met everyone else..." as we walked out my brother piped up... "So... no food?"
