As we traveled threw Tokyo, I started to notice that we are not even at the house. Sakura asked Teto "We aren't staying in Tokyo?" Teto giggled and looked in the mirror while driving, "Oh no, it's too crowded and busy for the family. We live in Osaka, much better and quieter then Tokyo. Plus the house mortgage is SUPER expensive, your grandpa LOVES the ocean so that's where your journey starts." I got excited that we will be next to water, my brother grunted and sighed. "What's wrong bro?" He looked out the car window and grumbled "I thought we will be some where busy... My dreams of finding a girlfriend is ruined." Teto burst out laughing, replied "So that's your goal? Man, young love... Don't worry Quin-Lun, there is TONS of festivals we hold each summer. You'll find a girl soon, just make sure you don't be rude to them." Flappered gased my brother try to hide his face, while Sakura and I giggled.
We got closer to Osaka, and saw the beautiful views of city life and country. We went threw Osaka with all the shops and rivers, Teto stop the car in an area where TONS of restaurants are. And he smiled "Since Grandma Yuzu is not be able to make any dinner tonight, because she is busy with everybody setting up for the festival coming up. They told me to make sure to give you guys food, but not McDonald's." Teto got out and open the door for us, and we are all flapper gased of where we got out. "SO I thought your first experience with Japan will be an Ramen Shop OR a Japanese BBQ, I'll give you guys ten minutes to think about it." Sakura and I talked about it, and my brother just shrugged and said "Either or with me!" Sakura and I just agreed. "We both are wanting to try Japanese BBQ!" Teto clapped his hands and smiled "ALRIGHT BBQ IT IS!"
We went inside a famous Japanese BBQ shop, and we sat down at the big family tables. We had so much food that I never thought will be possible, sure my family have it at our house. But most of the BBQ items was something so new to me, as Sakura and I try to figure out about what everything is. Of course my brother not really caring, started to eat it before we could. Teto gave a stern look at my brother, and having food stuffed in his cheeks with a bit of food sticking out. My brother replied "What???" mumbling and almost choking, Teto shook his head while Sakura and I waited. With a big sigh Teto crossed his arms "I can see what your parents was saying about you giving more problems then anything..." my brother sollowed what he had in his mouth, and placed down the chopsticks. As Teto waved his hand to the shop to not to worry, we waited of what Teto was going to say next. "First off, you have to be patient and have manners. Before we start a meal we always say itadakimasu with our hands together..." Teto started it and showed us of how to do it correctly, threw out the meal Teto guide us on what food is what. How to eat it, and even gave us Japanese Soda!
After we are done with the meal, Teto hold up his hands and told us to go ahead instead of saying itadakimasu. We will be saying gochiso sama deshita, and Teto told us "The reason why we do this, is because we are expecting the meal in the beginning from the Gods. And then we are thanking them at the end for a really good meal..." "Well it was super tasty meal!" As my brother said it while patting his stomach. We giggled and Teto smiled, we put our hands together saying the closing words as best as we can say it. Teto laughing about how we where tonuged tied of saying it, he replied "Don't worry! By the end of the summer you will be saying Japanese in no time flat!" We started to get up and went to the car, we got to the car and Teto open the door. We all got in, and my brother let one rip. "EEEWWWW! THAT'S GROSS!" Sakura and I coughing, trying to roll the window down. Poor Teto came in and got smacked of stinky Japanese BBQ, Teto immediately rolled down the windows.
As we got closer to the Yuzu household, Sakura getting super nervous. She started to asked questions to Teto, and Teto trying to calm her down. All I did was look at Sakura and said "They are your family, they been trying to find you all this time. If they didn't want you they wouldn't have said anything about you, so I believe in my heart that it will be ok." Teto smiled and Sakura still nervous, squeeze my hand and replied "Thank you..." my brother snooring next to my ear. We both glared at him, and Teto laughed. We pulled next to a big gate, with the view of the ocean just almost touching. Sakura and I looked at each other and said "You ready?" Both of us on this journey, and then I stopped thinking "Wait a minute... if they like her... would they like me and my brother!?!"
