Ayesha
Two days had passed since Caleb's execution.
Two days of grief.
Of pain.
Of suffering.
The whole pack was different, and that for the worse.
Melissa now despised my whole family, and she held a certain grudge against me, as I was the one who had "made him" get executed. She avoided the rest of the pack, and the only thing she did was sit and look up at the moon in her wolf-form. She was a beautiful wolf.
White as the moon itself, almost as if she was shining.
She was kind, but she could be really stubborn sometimes, something she had passed down to her children.
Caleb had been very stubborn. Very.I missed him. But I couldn't go back and change the past. I couldn't change the outcome.
I had realized that. But Melissa hadn't accepted that the whole situation was Caleb's and only Caleb's fault. But, as Freddie Mercury once said: The show must go on.
And so it would.

School.
The most boring thing in the whole world. Seriously, who invented school? Who decided that it was a good thing to let innocent children get bullied by their own classmates?
Who decided that the rich should rule? That is how it is. And I hate that, because I am one of those who gets bullied.
I was a nerd. And nerds always study, and nerds always gets bullied.
But the fact that I mostly studied didn't mean I did not watch.
I was a normal teenage-girl after all.
I—like every other girl at school—had a crush on that one boy. Dylan Ameron. The dream boy of the school.I would've talked to him if I dared to. That was what the other girls did. They sold themselves in, tried to catch his attention.
I, on the other hand, observed him in distance and silence. At home I wasn't really wanted either. My brothers were disappointed in me.
They acted like they weren't, but I could feel it in their movements.
I wasn't like them. And I would probably never be.❂ ❂ ❂
Sam slammed the locker door shut. "Hi," she said. "Lovely day, isn't it?"
She startled me so much that I jumped. "You scared me," I answered. "Not cool, Sam."
"And yet, you love me," she said with a big smile. "No matter how much you try, Ayesha, you're not getting rid of me."
"I would never want to," I laughed. "You're all I got, Sam. Especially now."
"I heard from Jack what happened." Sam's voice changed to a lighter, more calmer one.
"When did you meet Jack?" I asked, now curious about the answer.
"He was here like 20 minutes ago. Didn't you see him?"
I shook my head. "I must've been on my way here then. I wonder why he was here."
Sam listened carefully. "And he was in such a hurry too. Like he needed to be somewhere else and that quick."
"I'll ask him later. I have other problems to solve. Like that one."
I nodded behind us where a girl appeared. Nicole headed our way. A big smile painted her red lips.
Now, dear reader, let me introduce you to the queen of Mount Pleasouchurch High. Nicole Collins. The one and only daughter of the newly promoted prime minister Joe Collins.
I used to be friends with Nicole. But that was before. Before her dad got "the most important job in the world".
It changed them both. Nicole became the bratty rich girl who ruled school, and her father became more of a dictator than a prime minister, keeping all his money to himself and not caring a bit about the people in need of his help.
