Ayesha
I took the small path in the woods to get back home. I wouldn't normally do that as this path was longer, but I needed to be away from Jack for a while. I needed to clear my thoughts.
Other than the birds chirping, the forest was quiet. I didn't mind the peace and quiet, on the contrary, I longed for it.
I'm not sure if I would've liked these moments as much as did now if my family hadn't been what it was. When I was younger I had been scared of the forest. That fear had disappeared as I grew older and now the forest was a place I visited daily whenever I got the chance.
I didn't notice how the rain had started falling as I walked my way back to the caves I proudly could call my home.
Well sure, the place was filled with bad memories and bad vibes, but when you had spent a few days in the tunnels you learned to love the place.
I had lived there my whole life, and I noticed that the Newbies of the pack experienced the feelings I just explained for you.
I put my thin jacket tighter around my arms to keep the warmth. The rain had started pouring down and I was soaking wet from top to bottom.
Luckily, I wasn't so far from home, so I didn't have to run so far.
As I stood inside the cave-opening I leaned forward, catching a grip on my knees and sighed a few times. Then everything was normal again.
I walked farther into the cave-opening and didn't stop until I was in front of the first crossing.
My eyes were met by the last person I wanted to see right now. Jack stood there, waiting for me when I got inside.
"I'm so sorry, Ayesha...," he started. "It was pure self-defense."
I cut him off before he even got the chance to properly explain himself. "I don't want to hear it." I started walking away from the situation I absolutely didn't want to be a part of.
"Oh, by the way," Jack called after me, "Robin asks for you!"
"Good!" I answered. "I was going there anyway!"

It didn't take long to reach the cave-opening that led to Robin's so-called office.
"Come in, Ayesha," Robin said as I stood in the door.
I did as he said and sat down in the armchair opposite him.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked, trying to hide my grudge against Jack.
As if he had read my thoughts he said: "Jack."
Of course.
When I didn't answer Robin continued. "He told me what happened. It's a rare situation we have to face."
No kidding.
"It is indeed," I said. "But just because it's rare, it doesn't mean that it's impossible to solve."
Robin looked at me like he just now realized that I could think in the same ways as he did. "Exactly," he said, with a big smile. "It's not impossible to solve."
"So what do you plan on doing about it?" I asked, leaning my head against the armchair.
"I'm not going to do anything," he answered. "You are."

I had stayed a little longer with Robin so he could explain what he had planned that I would do.
