A strange attraction

Alex got up and made his way back up to the cliff, as he started to make his way back up he remembered that huntress, she's hunting him, but why? What the hell did he do to her? Was she in the ship that shot the Europa down? So many questions popped in his head but right now he needs to focus on getting the emergency beacon and try to get as far away from the crazy tall female alien hunter. Once he reached the top of the cliff, he followed his footprints that lead back to his escape pods. After a while of hiking back to his pod he notices multiple corpses of the same creature that tried to kill him, they all had one thing in common and there all missing their heads, and that they were all butchered  the smell and fear hit him, he started to puke whatever was in his guts, he wants to leave this place, he wants to go home, he wants to see his family at least one more time, he took deep breaths trying to calmed his nerves and then said " I am going home, I'll find that emergency beacon then get the hell out of here", he got up and follow his footprints and string of corpses finally he found his emergency pod he quietly went to the pod. When unbeknownst to him there was Laser tripwire signaling a silent alarm, indicating his position.  

Pov. Shayla 

Shayla was talking to her old friend Neri on the screen of her ship "I decided to give the human at least 24 hours since he managed to hide from me", Neri shook her head " Why didn't you finish him instead of torturing it", Shayla leaned on her seat " I would like a challenge, and I like the way this one looks, in the meantime I found other hunts in this island to keep me occupied ", she gestured the new skulls in her trophy room  Neri saw and was impressed " Nicely well done sister,  I already killed my human and gave her an honorable death", Shayla turned her head in shock of how quick she was, "How sister," Neri gestured to one of her traps, the human didn't notice my trap in the bushes when she stepped on it, the trap broke her leg, she screamed in pain and when I came out ready to finish her she pulled her knife and slashed at both of my arms", she gestured both of her arms, she saw me when I was invisible she went in defensive stance taking out another blade and shouting insults at me, not afraid. Shayla looked astonished " Some humans do have skills", Neri nodded "I turned off my cloak out of respect for her and fought her.

 She was still in unbearable pain, but still fought on, I used my wristblade and in efficiency I sliced her tendons in her wrist making her drop both of her blades even when all hope was lost for her she didn't beg or cry, she looked at me defiantly and spit at me. Neri chuckled " there was a point, I didn't want to kill her" Shayla had a look of surprised but then Neri quickly answered "But If I didn't do that the Matriarch would kill her and made me an example for all of our sisters, so for her sake I gave her a quick death so she wouldn't have to suffer. Shayla nodded then Neri turned to her " That is why you should end his suffering He's going to die either way best you don't make him suffer. Shayla sighed and remembered the scared look the human had when he looked at her something about the look made her happy" I understand Sister, but I at least wish to give him a fighting chance still", Neri groaned " Why sister", she showed her picture of the human looking at her with fear when she shot her bow at him.

Neri looked at the human and had to admit he did look adorable to her to say the least, but she shouldn't have given him false hope. " Neri look at me in the eye and tell me he doesn't look adorable", Neri groaned "Fine he does,  but what are you going to do when you have to kill him",  Shayla sighed " I will do what must be done sister, for our Matriarch", Neri sighed "I pray that you do sister, we cannot disobey the Matriarch if we do, we become bad bloods Shayla nodded " Sister do not worry I understand, By tomorrow he will be gone", Neri let out a sigh of relief " Good sister, I worry for you", Shayla shook her head " Sister you worry too much",  Shayla the noticed one of the alarms she placed near the humans escape pod started to go off she then got up and faced her sister ", Well sister it looks you may get your wish".
