Caroline let Joel and Ellie in and showed them their rooms. Joel got her parents old room which made her think about them, Ellie got Caroline's old room.
"How do you survive out here all by yourself?" Asked Ellie. "My parents stole food from the local markets and stole other things from stores because we were poor, they stalked up on things so I have too many supplies." Caroline explained. "Cool." Ellie said looking at Caroline's posters in her new room. "Ghost, Kiss, Misfits, Ramones, System Of A Down, Rammstein... Your pretty cool!" Said Ellie excitedly. "Favorite song?" "She by Misfits." "Nice!" Ellie and Caroline felt a spark between them.
"Ellie. We are gonna have to stay here for a few days." Joel said tiredly. "I'm fine with that." Said Ellie excitedly. There was a difference between their moods.
2 days later she had already learned much about Joel and Ellie. Ellie was energetic, sarcastic, enthusiastic, kind, and intelligent. While Joel was a fighter, sarcastic, angry, and careful. Caroline did find out that Ellie liked 5 seconds of summer, Kiss, Misfits, and Ramones. But they day had come where they had to leave.
