Author's Note

Hello everyone! I'm excited to share my writing with you for the first time on this platform. Until now, I've mostly kept my work to myself, penning it offline. I've been writing from time to time now, but I haven't been as consistent with it as I would like.

This story was inspired by the captivating character April Fooze, as portrayed by streamer Fuslie in NoPixel GTAV roleplay server.

As a writer, I often struggle with writer's block, where I find myself lacking inspiration or motivation to continue working on a project. That's why writing about existing characters, like April Fooze, can be so helpful. Having a starting point and framework to build upon takes some of the pressure off of me to generate ideas from scratch.

This allows me to focus more on developing the story and having fun with the writing process.

The plot follows April's journey in the city and is loosely based on Fuslie's gameplay, especially in the beginning. However, there will be many creative changes and deviations from the original source material.

So, why am I uploading my work now? With today being Valentine's Day, I felt it was a fitting time to finally share my writing, especially since April's 'Siren' is also coming out today.

I'm starting off by posting the first chapter, just to test the waters. I'm a little nervous about how it will be received, but I'm hoping you all enjoy reading it. I'm still unsure about my posting schedule and I can't promise anything at this point. I have a tendency to quit halfway through a project, but I'm hoping that this time will be different.

Again, I would like to emphasise that it is important to note that this work of fiction does not represent the streamers in any way. This story is about the characters, not the streamers, and serves as an outlet for the author's imagination.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this first little taste of my work and I hope you'll join me on this journey. I look forward to sharing more with you in the future.
