She should've slaughtered all the Skypeople so they couldn't go back and rebuild. But now was the time for slaughter. And Hia wasn't taking prisoners or making deals. This was about the safety of her children and all Na'vi.
There was another raid. Tsu'tey would be on the ground, helping them coordinate. Hia was in the air on Yuete'. She chose a bow instead of her most proficient weapon for the fear of being identified. That would put a target on her back.
She flew out with Jake and his air forces, they were tracking the train. It had weapons and building supplies. Avatar sized guns. The train had gunships. Smaller, faster. Not fast enough. The ground team struck with rocket launchers, you have to make do to take on a force this size. They blew the track, causing a catastrophic crash. Hia struck first, she was blood hungry on these missions. These missions where her children were only allowed to scout with Jake's kids. Only Yoräyu and Eyte'lan. They were old enough to, passed the clan's trials and have become working "adults" by Omatikaya standards. This did not mean that they were truly adults. They were exposed to battle almost at the same age as Tsu'tey.
It was a small enough vessel that only one shot to their driver was necessary. So she struck with deadly accuracy. Sending the gunship to the ground. She circled the area keeping an eye out, she allowed her kids on the ground, but only because she knew they were capable.
She landed shortly, meeting Tsu'tey who was handing out weapons. The war party took as much as they could carry.
"Gunships inbound! Fallback!" Jake ordered.
"Copy." Hia responded, looking around for her children who blended into the crowd. Her head snapped around frantically.
"Yorä! Eyte!" She called for them. A stray missile knocked her back. Landing on a place where it was still sensitive and painful from crushing the shack years ago. She hissed as Tsu'tey helped her to her feet.
"Easy!" Tsu'tey helped her regain balance.
"The twins! Where are they?!" She hissed out, her eyes began to tear up from the smoke. She found Yoräyu first, not far, she was shaken, thinking that the explosion made a direct impact on her mother.
She breathed quick and she was in a panic.
"My girl, easy, are you okay?" Hia hugged her tight. Yorä nodded quickly.
"I found him!" Tsu'tey shouted, he was carrying Eyte'lan on his shoulder who was conscious, but shell shocked.
"Thank the mother! Let's move!"

Their spot, was part of a large cave system in the mountains. And it was now home to the Omatikaya's high camp. They took up tents there, the avatars had moved there. She landed swiftly, taking the time to inspect her children for wounds. She held Eyte'lan's shaking hands.
"My poor boy." She murmured, "my son." She pulled him into a hug, but when his hands touched her back, she winced in pain. A sharp feeling carved its way through her back like knives.
