•—————•—————•—————•—————•In the morning, Hia had her mother look at her back and Eyte'lan. Yoräyu went to hang out with Lo'ak and Kiri. Spider also probably tagged along. Kiri was a good influence and she was sure they'd be fine. She was more concerned about Eyte'.
"I don't like Yorä spending so much time with Lo'ak." Tsu'tey said with crossed arms suddenly.
Hia looked at him with disapproval. He turned to her defensively. Almost surprise on his face.
"It's not that I don't like Lo'ak. I think that Yorä and Lo'ak are too competitive and are at the time on their lives when they don't listen to us." Tsu'tey grumbled.
"You just don't like your little girl being distant." Hia hummed as she helped Eyte' put a hole into his newest songcord bead for this battle. He had begun collecting beads after each battle to mark a victory. This new bead was a stone from the remains of the track.
Tsu'tey's scowl turned soft, thoughtful.
"I don't. I'm not ready for our little ones to grow up." Tsu'tey murmured as he came to sit near Eyte'lan and Naraya. Eyte'lan was only shocked by the explosion. The lasting mental effects were starting to show with this war raging for a year now. He took it harder than the others. He was becoming a warrior at the cost of his innocence.

"Wait up!" Tuk called. Yorä picked up the smaller girl and gave her a piggyback ride.
"Keep up!" Lo'ak complained.
"Why'd you let her come along anyway?" Spider asked.
"She's such a crybaby. 'I'm telling, you're not supposed to go to the battlefield. I'll tell mom if you don't let me come." Lo'ak mimed. Tuk stuck out her tongue and Yorä scoffed.
"You're a mean brother." She rolled her eyes. She let Tuk down and held her hand as they walked past Lo'ak.
Kiri began to wander and Tuk pondered the helicopters that were tangled in vines. Yorä climbed up inside, looking for anything interesting. Maybe bullets like the ones in her mother's "belt". They were huge. Nothing like the small metal casings. She wondered why her mother was called a 'creature of red mist'.
She would often ask of her mother's origins. Where she came from, who she was. The questions started after her ceremony to become one of the clan as a working "adult", the clan had to push out more warriors quickly, not even the Olo'eyktan's children were spared with Neteyam also becoming a part of the clan early.
She met a man there. When she had her vision. It was a human man. She didn't know who he was or what he was doing in her vision. He was like a spirit, a Specter. There was sand, blood, a cold feeling in her body. It was natural to have questions.
"We have to get back." Lo'ak announced. They'd spent too long already at the battlefield. But as they began to move, something caught his eye.
"What are you doing?!" Yorä hissed as he began following the tracks.
"It's too big to be human." He murmured.
