Chapter 5

Y/N pov

"Meet me at the beach late tonight" Aonung says in the distance as I quickly walk away, covering my face that was basically a different Color at this point, why was I blushing? I hated him.

But oh.. I love him, his laugh, his smile, him. I think as I walk and hide behind a tree.

"Oh.. my.. god.." I hear as I quickly take my hands off my face and see Neteyam looking at me in shock. "It's not!- I didn't- it wasn't-" I try to think of something to say. ".. you saw all of that didn't you?" I sigh dropping my head back into my hands.

"Yes. So, you do like him" he says smirking as I lean against the tree and slide down to the floor. "No! Maybe? Ugh.. I don't know" I try to say.

"Well, I think he's good for you. And you seem to like him" Neteyam says kneeling next to me. "You think?" I say lifting my head out my hands and looking at him.

He shrugs at me as we hear mother calling for us in the distance. "Well. We better get going" Neteyam says standing up and holding his hand out to pull me up.

We walk back into the pod and sit on the floor, joining the rest of the family. "Anyone do anything fun today?" Dad says to us a Neteyam speaks up.

"Y/N had fun" he says holding in a laugh, i hit his stomach making him cough and stop "skxawng" I say under my breath.

Ww all finish eating and head to sleep. Should I meet him? What did he want? I think lying down. I suck it up and quietly walk out the pod, seeing aonung in the distance.

I walk over to him as he turns around and smiles.

"You actually showed up" he says to me. "Yeah, what did you want?" I ask him as he grabs my hand and begins to drag me along. His cheeks slightly turning a darker blue.

"That wasn't really an answer" I say as he turns back to me, grabbing my other hand to as he walks backwards. "I wanna show you something" he says as I sigh and let him drag me along the shore.

He takes me behind the pods into a forest as we stop at a cave entrance.

"A.. cave." I say as he frowns. "It's not just a boring cave, it's what's inside i wanna show you" he says as we walk into the cave, the light fading.

We walk in basically pitch black for a bit when there's a glow as we walk into a giant cove, with plants on the walls and ceiling and a bit pond infront of us.

"Wow.." I say looking at it all, the water is glowing making it crystal clear. "We wanna get to the other side. But be careful the water is freezing" he says putting a hand on my chest stopping me from going into the water.

"This is how I get across" he says climbing up some rocks and standing up, holding his hand out to me. I take it as I pull myself up to him, but the rocks are mossy making me slip and fall onto his chest. I quickly pull myself off him and apologise, but he only laughs giving me a grin.

"Ok, ho,d on" he says as he grabs my hips with one of his hands, his arm going all the way around it. I blush furiously covering my face as he pulls me close to him, he grabs a vine the swings us across the water.

He then lets go of the vine making us fall down, I close my eyes praying to not fall in the water. I open my eyes to see a chest infront of my face, I sit up seeing that I was layed on aonung, his face a deeper blue as I quickly pull myself off him and stand up.

"Sorry I didn't mean-" I say as I was interrupted "it's fine, I kinda liked it" he says smirking at me as I turn away from him. My face hot and my heart pounding. He just chuckles as he sits up wiping the sand off him.

I turn behind us to see lush plants and life glowing, it was all beautiful. It was like home.

"I come here sometimes when I want to be alone, nobody else knows about this place other than me. It makes me feel better" he says

"Why would you show me then?" I ask as I turn behind me to look at him. "Because, your special to me" he says coming closer as he stares into my eyes, pulling me into a kiss.

I wrap my arms around his neck as he wraps his around my waist pulling my hips closer to his.

We kiss for a few moments before u pull myself away to catch my breath. He quickly smashes his lips onto mine as he puts a hand on the back of my face.

I try pulling myself back but his hand stops me from doing so. I hit his chest try to get him to let go as he finally does.

"Jeez you wanna suffocate me" I say as he just rolls his eyes and grins. "Just wanted to make the most of it" he chuckles as I sigh, he sounds so stupid sometimes.

"We.. we should probably head back" I say as he agrees and we head back home.
