Wheeljack's pov

He was just coming back from scouting that ratchet had told him to go after he called him "sunshine" again. Hehe.. oh how he loved to tease and flirt with ratchet.~ ratchet was so caring and really a big softie under the grumpy  shell. When he told bulk about this his best friend just laughed at him. How was he the first one to notice? They  had known him for years before him! They probably haven't even noticed how over worked ratchet is... he chose that he would talk to him asap about that when he got back to base.

Witch is right now
And like expected
Ratchet is working
Again...

He walked up to ratchet and made himself known by him...by doing what he does best.

Wj- Hey doc! What's up?

Rc- his blood boiled for two emotions. One was anger and other...he couldn't figure out
- for the primus sake wheeljack! Haven't I told you? Don't call me doc!

Wj- ratchet walked right in the trap like always~
- as you wish sunshine~ but how about you stop working for a minute? That's probably more than a minute break that you have had in weeks
he leaned on a wall close to ratchet, but in his voice, there was consern. Ratchet looked really tired, his shoulders were down and his optics were fighting to stay open. Wheeljack was, to be honest, surprised how ratchet was still standing.

Rc- he stopped his typical typing for a second to think...when really was the last time he had a break? He...he didn't know...maeby last moth? Well he did recharge last week so that counts as a break. He shook his head a little and continued typing
- I don't have time for a break. Don't you have anything better to do? I have to focus...
he kept typing, but thought about wheeljack's precence. Why would wheeljack focus on him? He wasn't that important and there were many other things to worry about!

Wj- he frowned at the fact that ratchet completely ignored his wish, no, the fact that he needed a break! He went over to ratchet and put his hand on his shoulder.
- for real ratchet! You have done enough work already. Tch- When even was the last time you recharged or fueled?
he said it as a joke, but after a second he realized that it actually was a valid question.

Rc- when he felt wheeljack touch him he stopped typing. he could have sworn he felt electricity or/and some kind of...he doesn't know, come from the touch...it felt...calming. when wheeljack talked he just looked down at his keyboard. Thinking. He hadn't done enough work! He still had to figure out synth en formula, find new energon mines and make new codes for finding the nemesis!

Had he fueled? He couldn't! There was barely enough energon for others on the field and he needed only the minimum because he stayed at the base. He hadn't fueled in...a week? Again he isn't sure...he focuses so much in his work...when he finally snaps out of his thoughts he showes wheeljack's hand away...he doesn't need him! Tho he missed the touch... he huffed at wheeljack before furiously continuing to type

- I haven't done even the half of the things I should do today. And about the other things? I don't know, last week? Look, I have work to do so could you just please leave me alone!?
he didn't like that wheeljack interfered with his work. It's his duty dammit! His digits ran furiously trough the keyboard as the different imagines flashed trough the screen

Wj- wait a minute...did he hear right? Ratchet had a break last time last week!? It Friday for primus sake! He was now serious when talking,  something that is rare for him. He showed ratchet away from the keyboard and looked at him like he was about to go to a battle against unicron himself.
- No! You need energon and recharge right now! No one in this base works around the clock and neither should you! You are gonna come to grap energon with me and then go to recharge, I'll take the communications and your duties until then. Got it?
he was standing between ratchet and the keyboard, servos crossed and staring at ratchet dead in the eye. He wasn't going to let ratchet get himself killed by overworking himself! And did ratchet say that he hadn't done enough? Excuse me!? Ratchet was the one who did pretty much all the work in the base, keeping everything together when others were on the field!

Rc- he was rather shocked. Sure he was mad that he couldn't continue his work, but he had never seen wheeljack act this way. Wheeljack's voice was demanding...but it was also worried. Why would the Wrecker be worried about him? Wheeljack is the one who is always in the medbay getting fixed! When he got over his shock he grumbled at wheeljack.
- I don't need anything! I need to work! I have worked like this way back before you came into the picture and I have been fine!

Wj- wait a second-...he had WHAT!?
- so you are saying, that you have overworked yourself like this from since you came to earth? Ok, that's it!
he grapped ratchet by the arm and pretty much forced/dragged him to come with him to the energon storage. When ratchet tried to protest he simply ignored him. When they were finally at energon storage he took a cube and tossed it to ratchet.

- you are gonna refuel, either you like it or not, and after that you are going to recharge. No objections or I'm gonna report you to optimus and he'll throw a flip.
he knew he had won, because ratchet knew that if optimus would find out about how much over work ratchet did, he would ground ratchet and take his work away. He grinned when he hear ratchet frown because he, wouldn't be able to do anything else, but to do as wheeljack suggested/ordered

Rc- who did wheeljack think he is!? His carrier? He can make his own decisions for primus sake! He muttered some unflattering words about wheeljack as he drank the energon. Why was the Wrecker doing this? Why did he care? tho ratchet couldn't deny it...he liked that wheeljack cared...but...Why? He quickly drank the energon, not understanding/realizing how low on fuel he had truly been on. after drinking it he put the empty cube on a side table, turned to wheeljack and crossed his arms, unamused expression on his face.
- look, I fueled, happy now?

Wj- he smirked
- very, but I would be happier if you recharged too.

Rc- uh this glitch was truly getting on his nerves!
- didn't I say already? I need to work!

Wj- didn't I say already? you also need to recharge and I'll keep the place together as you are go lights out.

Rc- he pinched the place between his eyes as he closed his eyes and took a deep breath
- I don't have time for this and I highly doubt that you won't be able to keep the base from blowing up in your care!

Wh- oh c'mon doc! Have a little faith in me?

Rc- no

Wj- ouch...how about a bet then? You will go to recharge and when you'll wake up and everything is still intact, you'll have to recharge every night from now on, AND if everything is blown up, I'll leave you alone for good, Deal?

Rc- he almost laughed. Did the Wrecker REALLY think that he could keep himself from blowing everything up? This was a clear win! He knew that wheeljack either underestimated the difficulties of his work or overestimated himself. He chuckled before speaking again
- as you wish, but you better leave me alone after this!

Wj- I'm a Wrecker of my word sunshine~

Rc- he was already walking in the way of his berthroom as he shouted behind him yo wheeljack
- I told you not to call me that!

Wj- he laughed and went to in the main hall to look at the monitors...huh? He looked at the stuff ratchet was working on...he didn't understand a scrap about that. Rest of the team and him should really give ratchet more credit. He somehow managed to open the tab to comlinks and groundbridge communications/settings after trying couple of minutes. He really wasn't going to lose this bet, for ratchet's sake and for the fact that he really didn't Wanna leave ratchet alone
