It had now been over a week since wheeljack won the bet, but in a week very much things changed.

First of all ratchet kept his part of the deal, now getting 3 to 4 hours of recharge every night. It isn't as much as others recharged or even as much as ratchet should really recharge, but it was still remarkably more than ratchet recharged before the bet.

The how much better ratchet recharged, now that he didn't see Ironhide anymore in his dreams and now that he slept every night, also affected in his behavior. Ratchet wasn't as grumpy or as easily annoyed as before.

He didn't instantly snap at miko when she played the guitar, just asked could she PHLEASE keep it down. Ratchet didn't tell bulkhead to not always break his tools when he saw this, he just shouted at bulkhead everytime when he broke something that ratchet needed.

The biggest change in his behavior tho was how he acted with wheeljack.

Ratchet didn't immediately tell the Wrecker to back off or go to pits. Ratchet usually just ignored the Wrecker every time he tried to flirt with him, just turning away with an annoyed grunt to hide his blush (that didn't exist if you ask him).

But other times, when wheeljack simply talked With ratchet. He actually had full conversations with wheeljack. They usually talked about missions or energon mine locations, but sometimes, pretty often, they would simply talk about how their day had been so far, what do they like, what they are good and interested in and couple of times they talked about old cybertron and their old lives before the war.

Ratchet had noticed that wheeljack isn't just obnoxious, loud and a trigger happy loose cannon, that could blow everything up with simple touch. Ratchet learned something new about wheeljack every day.

Wheeljack on the other hand, was just about the happiest mech ever lived. He loved that he could Finally spend time with ratchet without trying not to get hit by a wrench! Well...it did still happend sometimes but...at least not so often! Wheeljack had noticed that he loved to talk with ratchet, not just flirt or tease him. He actually loved to just talk to ratchet about random topics!

But the most he loved when ratchet would start talking about something he loved, like cybertron, his work, science and engineering. There would be a light in ratchet's optics that wasn't usually there, ratchet would even smile sometimes when talking. He loved ratchet's smile....

Wj- no nonono. If you dear readers think that I just day dreamed about ratchet, you are wrong! Me, wheeljack the Wrecker, aren't in love with ratchet!

Me- Keep telling and lying that to yourself Jackie, but one thing you definitely are. You are the one who is gonna pay for a new fourth wall!

Now...let's continue shall we?

Wheeljack really enjoyed ratchet's company (even tho he says otherwise) and tried to talk to ratchet as much as possible (stfu wheeljack, we both know it isn't just "random convos") and today the two were at it again. Wheeljack and ratchet had talked about an hour now in the same time as ratchet worked.

Rc- I still can't understand how particles don't have gravitational fields that would make them pull in contact with each other.

Wj- well it's because they do have grav fields, just that they work like magnetic negativity and can't touch each other.

Rc- he blinked a fair couple of times and looked at wheeljack with shock on his face.

Wj- what? Is there something on mah face?

Rc- after he got over his shock he managed to answer to wheeljack.
- How in the name of alpha Trion did you know that?

Wj- he looked a little dumbfounded.
- I thought it was just common knowledge?
