It had been a few days now after isagi yoichi joins reo's school. Nagi had been distant from reo ever since.

Reo(POV)

These past few days my throat was getting tighter and tighter I'd even cough up blood..I didn't know what to do. I had texted my best friend Chigiri about it he had been telling me it could be the disease but there was no flower petals yet coming in...

I was now at class the lesson was pretty boring so all I could do was zone out finally after it was over I looked over to Nagi talking to isagi.. as always. They had been getting closer and closer that Nagi didn't have any time for me at all. God what the fuck I was thinking we weren't even dating why was I getting jealous? But as I looked as I kept staring my throat kept getting tighter just then I felt like I was about to puke. I then rushed out of the classroom to the bathroom everyone has looked at me rushing out the classroom as I reached the bathroom I then coughed and puked it out. It was a petal...

No... It couldn't be. I....I have the disease. I panicked looking at myself at the mirror I then took my phone and texted Chigiri. Telling him about what happened. He responded back telling me to calm down clean up before anyone would see and try drink some water. I did as he told and calmed myself as I get out the bathroom no one had been to curious I then went back to the classroom getting looks. I ignored them and head to drink water. I couldn't focus all the lessons the teacher was discussing. I was panicking holding my throat the entire time thinking what Could happen.

After school was over I then texted baya to quickly come pick me up. As I was about to leave the classroom isagi had caught up to me "hey reo are you alright? You looked like you were about to puke earlier" isagi asked "it's nothing." I responded I then saw Nagi behind his back like he was a lost puppy following his owner. I felt something inside me. Isagi was about to say something but I then coughed i tried stopping it but it gotten bad I then tried spilling words "I got to go im- sorry bye!" I said as I kept coughing just trying to get away from the 2 as he got away the coughing had stopped

He sighed then he saw baya parked waiting for him he then hopped onto the car as baya greeted him after a while he then had arrived home he realized that his parents weren't home that was a relief. He then rushed to his room immediately calling his friend. As Chigiri picked up "Reo! Are you okay what happened?!" Chigiri asked worriedly "I'm fine I think. I coughed bad when I saw-" reo spoke "yeah I know. Mind telling me who's the you know. Person?." Chigiri waited for an answer "it's... Nagi." Reo spoke softly.

"Look don't feel embarrassed reo. Your my best friend I'd never judge you okay? Your like my brother reo." Chigiri answered "I'm lucky to have you." Reo smiled Chigiri then guided him to help him from the situation reo then did research about the disease. "You have to confess reo."
Chigiri spoke reo didn't answer. "I'll find the right timing..." Reo answered as Chigiri nodded after a while they then hanged up.

Reo sighs then hops to the shower he still couldn't believe he had fallen for his best friend. A mikage falling in love with a poor slacker. His parents would've froze if they had found out so he decided to keep it a secret.

It had been 2 days after that incident. Th disease was getting bad reo had been coughing up petals more. His classmates were getting worried that he might be sick because he kept coughing all day in class even teacher were worried but reo said it was just a sore throat and as always the teacher,students had believed him.
