After a year of searching, they found the boys, who were best friends, going to the same college. The men begin to execute a plan to win back the boys they love. Each one takes a different approach to winning the one they love. Will they be able to win the one they love, or will they fail and disappear from their lives forever?
NuNew
Nothing is ever how you expect, especially for twenty-one-year-old NuNew Chawarin Perdpiriyawong. Things seemed to be the same even on his first day at his new job.
Everything had gone wrong from the moment he got up. This was evidence that he needed to reevaluate his priorities. He should not have watched his favorite BL series late into the night, and he likes to think of it as research.
If he was honest, this time, it wasn't research. He was so horny last night that he needed to get off, or he would walk around with a hard-on on his first day at work. That would not give the best first impression, especially if he ran into him.
He decided he wouldn't watch any more DVDs or BL dramas until the weekend. He only had a few weeks of work before he would be taking leave to do a drama he signed up for before he was hired.
This drama would take him out of the country to Taiwan to shoot the scenes with the script's best friend, A-Wut, who had been in love with the character Prince since they were children.
He loved the storyline and could relate. This had happened to him in his junior year at university. However, after months of badgering, his childhood friend, Liet, said it was a mistake. He mistook their years of friendship for being in love.
He said he found the one he would love for his lifetime. He had left that day, and NuNew had not seen him since, not even a text or line message. He hoped he was doing okay.
He was happy for him but wished that after all their years together, he would still want their friendship even though he rejected him.
Liet was such a great guy. Things could have been different if he hadn't met the man he wished he could spend his life with. He still was not over him, and if he were honest, he never would be.
He didn't want to hurt his friend, but he was not his one and only. He hoped Liet would find that, and he deserved that. He knew anyone who was with Liet would be lucky to have him.
He firmly believed in following his heart but chasing the one he loved would be a complicated and painful journey. One road he still needed to decide he was willing to travel. It would have been easier and less painful if he had accepted Liet and saved himself from heartache.
His decision long ago to avoid and cut contact with the one that stole his heart never sat well with him, and it hurt him so deeply. If he continued to focus on it, he would end up like he was three years ago: miserable, crying, and still alone.
He has already stepped up and will put himself out there by accepting this job at this company. He put himself in direct line of sight of the one he loved. Hoping he would see the gesture for what it was.
