When I woke up this morning I looked kat the alarm and it said was noon wow I must had great night last night then it hit me about the kiss I shared with Leah and that she was going to call me so I quickly looked at my phone and was nothing from Leah just some texts off team mates asking me how I was this morning as they didn't see me go on my morning run.
I went down stairs to make myself a hot chocolate as I hate tea and coffee to be honest I hate all hot drinks only like Caramel hot chocolate! I heard my phone beep and I ran so fast that I ended up tripping over the first step on my stairs and face planted the stairs ouch that one hurt like a motherfucker! looked at my phone and it was Leah
I quickly opened it and this how it went
Leah.. hey Jen cant stop thinking about your lips on mine
Jen .. hiya Leah same to be honest I was worried it was just a drunken kiss from you
Leah.. no defiantly not a drunken kiss, tbh I had my eye on you for long time
Jen.. Have you now since when?
Leah.. since I seen you play your first game for man u
Jen.. that was over 2 years ago Leah
Leah.. Yes I know. I was just waiting for the right moment I guess
Jen.. So the right moment was when we were drinking?
Leah.. yeah I guess so wondering if you like to come over my house I throwing a party for close friends and family?
Jen.. Sure when?
Leah.. next weekend before England camp?
Jen.. sure I will see you then text you after my shower :)
so I'm going to meet her close friends and family all I need to do is play it cool and be myself I also think its time I tell my two best mates what's happening and get advice from them. I'm glad I know I wasn't a drunken mistake I guess I have try not going over board with this as its early days and I don't want to scare her off but she said she liked me for over 2 years that's long long time and I'm sure she was dating one her team mates at the time, that would been awkward, I have to ask her if that was true.... I know Leah is very private person and I'm glad about that because so am I! the press don't need to know about my private life or the fans in that matter all they need to know is how we play football on field and how we conduct in interviews.
I know fans are into Leah life atm following her every move when they know she's at events and things they asking where is Leah has anyone seen Leah.. that must be hard on Leah I think she doesn't like that side of her life. I made my way to Ella and Russo and told them everything about the party the kiss and also the invite to her family meal thing, they sat with mouths wide open and all of a sudden Ella screamed saying I fucking knew you both would date, calm down misses was just one kiss we are not dating yet we playing it cool till we sit down and talk this all out but yes I really like her and I need your help on outfits and things about conversation starters with her whole family.
Ella.. "talk about arsenal her mum and grandma are massive fans too"
yes thats great start thank you Ella if one thing I love to talk about is football and arsenal!! now outfits.... do I pick a classy suit incase we go out after and stick with my joggers and white Nike top in day time if its at her house I might just pack my full cupboard with me... Russo told me to calm down and said yes to the suit as I look fit in suits also said yes to my joggers as Leah herself chills in joggers at home..
so that's conversations and outfits sorted now its my own head to keeping cool and chilled but guess only time will tell on that one. Me and Leah texted and called few times in the week she told me that she would come and get me and I told her not to be daft as its not bad drive only 3 hrs I told her make sure to take me to the local darts club for drink and few games of darts.. I now know her family loves silly and pretty much all sports that's music to my ears as I'm the same :) I cant wait to meet all her family and friends and of course seeing Leah.
so this week I find out if I made the England squad and meeting Leah and her family wish me luck
