The Fire & The Requiem

Chapter 26

Battle of marine Ford!

Ace was watching the sky, his eyes wide and full of tears before he heard an incredibly loud roar and all of a sudden shadow fire torched the oceans surface and part of the land.
"It can't be!"
"It's a dragon! But how!"
Luffy grinned as did Marco.
"Yuki-yoi!"
"It's Yuki and Kage!"
"Seem's they're here to fuck shit up."
Kage flew over the platform and Ace saw Yuki looking down at him. Her eyes had narrowed into slits before Kage circled back and landed allowing Yuki to finally climb down.
"Yuki!"
Sengoku now choked. The child of the requiem. The promise that she would set this world ablaze. What had he done? No he couldn't afford to back down now. A pirate was a pirate and this one was the child of the former king of the pirates.
Yet Yuki didn't speak she was glaring up at the man who suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.
"Luffy."
"Yes?"
"I'm leaving Ace to you. I'll handle these assholes."
Luffy nodded and started running again.
Yuki glanced over at her own division but knew this call wasn't hers to make. "Shade, Kaze! Go and cover Luffy for me!"
"We're on it!"
Yuki however turned onto the others and lifted her left arm. "To even the battle field just a bit. I'm not holding back."
Pop's looked at Marco as Yuki got ready to fight.
"Don't let Ace's brother die! That is an order!"
And with that the battle began. Even WhiteBeard himself was fighting and despite the injuries he received he was not going to hold back.
"The marks i wear, the pact I made, an oath I swore to you in blood. Come to me and help me keep those I care for safe!"
Ace had his eyes on Yuki the entire time, he had yelled at Luffy to leave but he wouldn't. Just them the men went to try and kill him only for Luffy to scream and for the first time he activated conquers Haki. He did that just as Yuki called for her dragons.
"Sānda, Eien, Korī, Kimanari no Ryū!" Four more dragons filled the sky and Garp was amazed yet horrified at the raw amount of power Yuki displayed and the fact she had a dragon. No she had five of them.
"Keep these assholes busy!"
Several loud roars were heard and with that she turned her full focus onto the fight. She was going toe to toe with Blackbeard at the moment and the look of murderous rage in her eyes had him glad Yuki hadn't been there for that first beat down he would have died.
"How! How is it you have all this power!"
"I am the child of the requiem! I have trained, I have learned. I do not rely on just my powers but my own strength! Tell me, how did that poisoned fruit taste?"
That's when his eyes widened as he was sent flying by Thatch.
"Get your dirty hands away from my sister."
"How! I killed you!"
"You killed a copy of me. Yuki made a pretty life like shadow copy."
Then he was angry and attacking both of them in full force. He should have know that was the case. That Yuki had found a way to trick him the same way she had tricked him with the fruit.
"Damn you!"
"I got him Yuki. Besides-" he pointed to Ace. "Luffy just made it."
And he did, he had gotten to Ace just as Garp hit the ground. Yet the man was hiding a smirk, Yuki and Luffy would save Ace. He should have known.
Just then an explosion was heard as smoke filled the sky.
"No!" Came Yuki's horrified cry and Blackbeard laughed.
Yet all of a sudden a pillar of flames appeared in the smoke and a pair of shackles fell to the ground.
"Ace!" Came Luffy's excited yell at he realized he had freed him in time and Yuki let out a sigh of relief. "Damn show off!"
Ace grinned and grabbed onto Luffy as Luffy grabbed brother 3.
"Can you still fight?"
"Yeah!"
"Good! Get ready!"
Yuki's dragons were flying around the sky blowing away the Marines left and right. Never once harming them badly though.
Once Ace and Luffy were on the ground did the battle resume. Yuki was fending off attacks left and right and Pop's was heavily injured. This was it, this was the final push until those two could make it to freedom. They just needed a little more time. And well Yuki was capable of giving them that.
"Eien!"
"I'm on it Yuki!" And with that the dragon flew after Ace and Luffy. Slowing down time just enough that they were able to escape the first group before Yuki fell to one knee.
"Yuki!"
"I'm fine! Keep going!" She wasn't done yet. She still had power to fall back on.
The entire field was covered in blood yet Yuki knew none had been done by her. So she sped up the process.
"Lullaby! Let's put them to sleep, song of the lost lullaby!" Lullaby appeared and soon began knocking people out with her song as Yuki turned on several others.
"Realm of the nightmare!" And with that even she had enough time to start running so she did. The battle was nearing it end and now it was time to escape. So she quickly grabbed Thatch kicked Blackbeard away from them and ran right behind Ace and Luffy.
"You did it onee-Chan!" Luffy yelled and Yuki just laughed.
The first laugh she had in awhile. Ace was safe and so was Luffy.
"We can talk about this later after I kick your ass." However they were soon cut off and Yuki glared. "Keep running, I got this." And with that she turned and blocked the next wave of attacks, content with just knowing that the others would be okay.
