Welcome to Mosbury, a cozy town on the coast of lovely California, although Mosbury is usually covered in a bank of fog. Packed full of tourists, surfers, fishers, rich people and stoners; there's quite a few interesting things to do and see. Every once in a while, there will be a tourist trying to convince everyone around that they saw something down on the beach. Home to a rare species of dolphins, the Mosbury coast is protected against large fishing boats, the water usually has surfers, the occasional kayaker, and other non-motorized boats. Mosbury has its strange people, most commonly tourists who claim to see magical creatures in the water and its stoners who usually just edge the tourists on that they did see something.

With a loud bang the door to the Mosbury Deli swung open and a group of four tourists came running in and yelling.

"We saw a hippocampus! It was swimming with a pod of dolphins!" Exclaimed one of the tourists.

"Sure you did, you tourists aren't the first to come in here claiming that." Answered one of the regulars, a man named Stump, the English teacher up at the high school.

"We really did, it was huge and had iridescent scales with something almost like a dorsal fin running from between its ears and down its neck." One of the tourists explained to Stump.

"How exactly did you see this creature?" Asked a stoned high schooler in the back, right before she took a bite of sand.

"Jacy, I told you to stop eating sand, but how did you see it? None of the dolphin pods ever come close to the beaches." Stated another highschooler, swatting at the handful of sand her friend was eating.

With a concerned look, one of the tourists explained that they were off the coast scuba diving and when they went under, they spotted the pod swimming. When watching the pod, they noticed a flash of color that looked too big to be any fish that lived there. They looked more and more to spot it and saw the hippocampus swimming among the dolphins. Stump just let out a big sigh before getting up, both because his students were so weird and at the craziness of some tourists that come to this town. Hippocampi are horse-fish hybrids, they have large, strong tails that are covered in iridescent scales. With a defeated look, the four tourists left, but not alone. The three highschoolers that were in the deli jumped up to follow them, Jacy, Sofia and Kyle were known for messing with tourists. With the grace of a two-legged dog, Kyle tripped over one of the metal chairs in the deli, dropping his phone and hindering their tracking of the tourists.

The trio ran out the door to try and catch the tourists, unfortunately they couldn't find them when they got outside. They scanned the street in hopes to catch a glimpse of one of the tourists, but they weren't able to see anything. It was about 11:30 am, right around the time all the tourists would be coming up from the beaches or out of hotel rooms to start shopping around town. Everything in this little town opens around 11 or 12, occasionally tourists will be up before then, like the group claiming to see a hippocampus. Quickly, the three friends decided to go towards the headlands in search of the tourists. Assuming the tourists would try to find the creature again, the trio started towards the water, wanting to stop the tourists before it was too late.
