Lucy's POV

I was still in the same treatment room I've been in for the last few hours, there hasn't really been anyone to check on me yet for quite a while now when I saw my brother through the glass the door from my room, oh no here we go again.... I should have chosen another hospital in the other of the city where I won't have a chance of running into any of them. I saw him take out his phone and put it up to his ear as he walked in the opposite direction from my room.

Shit.... I bet you he's calling Jay right now and soon hell will break loose. I need to get out of here before they try and make a contact with me and that's when I heard two familiar voices.

"You must be Travis Montgomery. Right way" I heard Dr. Choi say, thank god he's here and soon enough the door opened and I was faced with Travis and Vic.

"Lucy, are you okay? What happened?" He asked all worried with that concerned tone of voice he uses every time as he sat next to my bed with Vi stand at the end of the bed as Dr. Choi left us alone.

"Trav, I'm sorry.... I fucked up, I was gonna stop I promise, but I just wanted one last shot and the next thing I remember is walking into this hospital to get help from the only brother who doesn't hate me yet" I told him when  I broke down completely as he took his arms around me and hugged me like he always do. Being in his embrace always make me feel the safest ever since the first the time I arrived at Station 19 in Seattle.

"Oh sweetie, it's okay. The most important thing right now is that you're alive and okay" He told me as I nodded my head and he dried his tears away. He knew I had two brothers in Chicago but he didn't know their names or what they look like, thankfully and that's when I saw Will approach the room and open the door as he walked in and presented himself.

"Travis Montgomery. I'm her guardian and emergency contact. Are you her doctor?" Travis asked as Will had a disappointed look on his face and I kept looking down at my hands as Vic noticed something was up and went over to my side and took my hand in hers and signalled that everything is gonna be okay.

"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Dr. Halstead" Will said as him and Travis shook hands.

"Hey Lucy, how are you feeling?" He asked with almost no emotion in his voice what so ever as he took his stethoscope out and listened to my heart beat and check my other vitals as well.

"Good" I just said keeping it short not looking him the eyes as Travis started noticing that something was off as well.

"We have to move you up to the ICU for further observation" Will said as Travis nodded his head at what my brother was saying when he asked them to leave for a moment so he could speak with me privately telling them it was 'basic protocol' my ass I know he was lying to them to get them out of the room.

"Will...." I said as he shook his head when I looked at him properly for the first time since he entered the room and saw how his eyes were getting watery. He has always been the more emotional one compared to Jay, which by the way I'm not on good terms with him at the moment.

"I'm just happy to see that you're alive, but you know how Jay is gonna react when he gets here" He said as my eyes started watering when Will said his name and just to get it straight it's not like any of them ever hurt me in anyway, but last time I spoke with Jay I was high and drunk and we had a pretty heated argument which ended in him telling me to get lost and never speak to him again and that was around 3 years ago, so yeah.....

"I know, but it's not like I ment for him to find me like that, how was I supposed to know they were gonna raid that house that night?!" I slightly yelled as my heart rate raised a bit and Will told me to take some deep breaths and relax a bit.

"Who are the those two who claims to be your guardians?" Will asked referring to Travis and Vic as I looked down at my hands again.

"That's Travis and Victoria... They're firefighters from Seattle and Travis is in fact my guardian so that part is true" I said as Will looked slightly shocked and hurt at me at the though of me almost just replacing him and Jay, but too be fair he can thank Jay for that.

He decided to stay quiet for now as he prepped me and rolled me out of the room and out of the ER to transfer me up to the ICU as secretly tried mouthing to Vic that Will was my brother when she saw it she gave me a shocked look  but kept it under the covers for now as we arrived in the ICU and Will placed me in a room and told me he would be back later to check on me and left the room again.

"Okay so I didn't want to say anything down in the ED, but is Dr. Halstead coincidentally one of the two brothers you have?" Travis asked taking the chair next to the bed as Vic sat next to him and I nodded my head.

"Yeah.... surprise. His name is William but everyone calls him Will, only our parents called him Williams or when someone is really mad him and my other brother's name is Jay and he works as a Detective for CPD's Intelligence Unit and we're not on good terms as in haven't spoken in 3 years" I told them as they nodded their heads at everything I was saying.

"Why aren't you and Jay speaking if I may ask?" Vic asked me as I took a deep breath before I started explaining to them what happened with our parents before I left which led to what happened between me and Jay and what he said the night I left as I came to realise I never explained to them why I came to Seattle in the first place on my own at the age of 14.
