Yesterday Aonung seemed serious and sincere, today that completely changed
You went to your first 'meeting' as you saw Aonung you rushed to him
"Hey y/n" Aonung greets u with a smirk
"Hi fish boy" you greet him
"Fish boy? That's new" he says
"Well Lo'ak calls you fish lips so I had to be original" you respond
He just looks down at you with a smirk still painted on his face
"Why are you looking at me like that" you ask

"Y/n, you've been acting different, I can't tease you anymore because you don't care" he looks at you while putting his hands on your shoulders
You just look up at him silently
"It's nothing, I've just been stressed over the mating thing, I mean how could they just choose me as your mate without even telling me before?" You start stressing again
Aonung sighs as he sits down
You sit infront of him looking at the sand thinking of how happy you would be if you didn't have this in your mind
"Why does it bother you so much?" He questions
"What?" You ask
"You're so bothered by it, why?" He continues
"I wanted to mate someone I love, I know you don't love me." You say
Instantly he looks up at your eyes almost in disbelief
"You don't know that" he laughs

He just giggles

You spend some more time talking about your love for nature and what you like to do, also talking about his tooth necklace.
Later you find yourself on him, your head laying on his shoulder as he holds your waist and you're sitting side by side.
You start drifting to sleep and as soon as you notice you get up telling him
"I'll walk you home" he says
"Are you sure?" You question
"Yes, of course" he reassured you
"Okay..." you say as you hold hands
You have grown closer these past few hours just talking together about random stuff that both of you loved
