At first sight my eyes beheld a star
Celestial light from the reach so far
At first sight my heartbeat double-timed
My words came back and I suddenly rhymed
At first sight my soul found its bliss
Without a touch, without a simple kiss
At first sight my life did turn upside down
The change you made in me was so profound
At first sight, my child, you made me new
For what I am since then is just for you
