Me and Eunbi were walking down the school hallway before Eunbi bumped into someone. "O-oh sorry." The guy had an Australian accent, I looked over to see Eunbi blushing. "N-no, it's fine." "Well, may I know your name, pretty girl?" "U-uh, Lee Eunbi." Am I thirdwheeling right now?.. "Nice to meet you Eunbi, I'm Sim Jaeyun, but just call me Jake. I would love to see you soon, bye!" The guy said as he walked past us.
"Ooohhh! Eunbi has a crush!" "SHUT UP" "HAHAHA NOW YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS" We both bickered our way to the basketball court. The boys in 10th to 12th grade were having a badminton rehearsal match today, and Jay had invited me to come watch. For some damn reason, it will be held in the BASKETBALL court...Me and Eunbi found two unoccupied seats and sat.
"Excuse me, I am sitting here." A girl who looks a grade younger scoffed. "O-oh sorry, I'll go-" "Nah, I saw you, you were sitting over there. Go back to your seat kid." Eunbi spat as I looked at her worried. The girl probably got offended and left. "Yunyun, you shouldn't be too kind sometimes y'know." Eunbi sighed as she continued, "You shouldn't let others take advantage of you, don't let your guard down." I just nodded to her nagging.
The match started and I saw Jay, he looked really cool. He always seemed so confident, just my type- .... Okay don't get distracted Yunseo. I saw that our grade was winning and we all cheered louder. I didn't cheer because I've got a sore throat, I should've not eaten that Bingsu... but it was so good. The match ended as our grade, 11, won. I was looking for Jay on the court but couldn't find him.
"Looking for someone who is perhaps me?" A recognizable voice startled me from behind. "Oh Jay, congrats!" "Thanks! Is it just me or do you look even prettier today?" With that, my face flushed red. "H-hahaha, stop joking-" He cut me off, "I'm not joking though-" Now he got cut off by Eunbi exclaiming, "SHE STYLED HER HAIR TODAY" Ugh that bitch-
"Aww, did you style it for me?" "N-no." I swear he knows everything that goes around in my head. Thank god, I ain't like Eunbi- Eunbi went off somewhere as me and Jay were left alone in the court. "U-um Jay?" He just hummed in reply, "Do you know which class is Sim Jaeyun, also called Jake?" "Why do you want to know?" Jay asked looking kinda sad.
"N-no, not for me. Eunbi kinda has a crush on Jake.." "Oh, so, who do you have a crush on?" He asked while wiggling his eyebrows attractively.
Jay's POV
"N-no, not for me. Eunbi kinda has a crush on Jake.." I was about to be disappointed but, now I'm happy. "Oh, so, who do you have a crush on?" I asked. "I-I u-uh-" I chuckled at her cuteness. I patted her head, "It's fine, you don't need to tell me." I slowly leaned to her ear as I whispered, "Because I already know who it is." I winked as I left the court smiling in victory for two reasons ; our team won the match and Yunseo does have a crush on me.
How do I know? Well, it's all thanks to my gut, and it's always right. Also cause, Eunbi told me earlier... But I'm not gonna confess yet, why? Well, I want her to confess. It'll be so adorable to see her blushing.
Yunseo's POV
"Oh, so, who do you have a crush on?" Jay asked. "I-I u-uh-" He chuckled at me as he patted my head, "It's fine, you don't need to tell me." He slowly leaned to her ear as he whispered, "Because I already know who it is." Jay winked as he left the court, leaving me a blushing mess. How dare he just make me fluster as hell, and then just leave?
So, he knows I have a crush on him... I'm not planning to confess anytime soon but, it seems like Jay really wants me to confess first. AHHH I'M SO EMBARRASSED ALREADY How should I confess?
I went to the bakery again as soon as I arrived home. Today it seems like it's a busy day because there's alot more customers. I finished work late, usually I finish at 6 PM, but today I finished at 8 PM instead!
I went up to my room feeling tired as hell. I turned on my phone to see a new follower on Instagram. p.jay_02 ? I went to their posts to see that it was Jay! I obviously followed him back just to receive a notification. "Damn, that was fast." I opened it to see that Jay had DMed me.
