Looking back on her memories, she decided that she had a bad fashion sense. She would throw on anything that looked comfy, at premiers she wore over decorated dresses that hadn't suited her at all, until she got older.
He hadn't cared what she wore and that made her happy, since he didn't mind being seen with her in her horrid clothes. He'd give her that knowing look when she ranted about being called Emily Watson on live Television.
When they first got cast, he'd tease her about her character name...Hermy-One. She would playfully hit his arm, scolding him.
"It's Her-mi-oh-neeee."
"I like Hermy-One better, it has more of a Star-Wars feel to it." He would say.
After that fateful day he started skateboarding, that was the day everything changed. The whole cast changed; hormones kicked in, relationships, crushes, and the whole nine yards.
Tom started dating a girl named Melissa Tamschick while they were shooting Harry Potter, Sure she had had a crush on him but she wasn't the type to go after what was already taken. And knowing this, she stayed enough distance away from him trying to douse the flames called her 'Crush.' But it got harder after that one time. From 2004 to 2006 they dated, until they broke up suddenly and his feelings drifted towards her. As sudden as it was, it ended because it became awkward with the others and their team-member cast. As heart-broken as she was, she accepted it and moved on.
But the Consequences were horrid.
She would remember all the good-times they had together and all the great things they did. He would be there for her and be with her at movie premiers, after parties or any Harry Potter event and she would feel safe, familiar comfort. He knew her family an friends and she knew his. Everything was wonderful...but he moved on just as she did. Sure she knew about the song he wrote, her friends had been trying to convince her that the song was for her. 'Time Isn't Healing.'
So he let her go...but what she really wanted was for him to fight for her and tell her to stay...but he hadn't. He started seeing their stunt assistant who worked onset named; Jade Olivia. And it just broke her to see him with her, kissing, teasing and acting like she wasn't even there. But she didn't feel any resentment towards her because that was just selfish and she wasn't a selfish girl...she tried to move on.
Thats how it all began...the Consequences of their failed love.
It might have been because of many things...but she started dating Jay Barrymore. Before that was Tom Ducker then Jay Barrymore, Rapheal Cebrian, George Craig, Will Adamowicz and finally Matthew Janney which had been her lastest break-up.
The Year 2008 was a cold one, he's talk about her in a frosty tone in interviews. Not bothering to see much of each other or interact.
In 2011, they were to present the MTV Introduction, which ended with her presenting alone much to her embarrassment and humiliation. People said he went out backstage pulled by Jade as she was presenting with the clip. They had been caught on MTV VIP backstage live-stream and it blew up on Twitter, it didn't come to her attention until late and she felt hurt.
His reply was:
"Lol, guys i wasn't ever asked to present the hp clip & i didn't even know Emma was going or presenting it! amazing clip, so exciting!"
She fumed.
'How could he not know? The MTV presentation board had their names one above the other in the 'Presentation Intro' section, unless they 'REALLY' didn't tell him or he just didn't look at the board. Which she very much doubted since everyone who attended would have to look at. Besides, all the fans were excited that they would be presenting together and it had been all over TV, Radio Broadcasts, The Web and so on but...No, it didn't happen.
She had gotten twitter, all the cast started following her...except him.
'Fine,' she thought to herself and didn't bother to follow him at all.
'If we're gonna be this way...Fine.'
Things weren't going well, but she tried as always to move on. Then...her same best friend via'd her a video of an interview he had done and the interviewer had said:
"You're the only person in the Harry Potter Franchise that turned her on! How do you feel about that, Tom Felton?"
Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. She never said that to anyone, much less interviewers and it was entertaining watching him mumble with a flustered look and his response was,
"I, uh - I, uhh, wow. Th-thats...uh...a... big statement. Um, uh, yeah...I'm very flattered. Emma and I have been friends for a very long time so it kind of...feels, a little strange when she'd say that..."
She hit her forehead in embarrassment, sinking into her chair. They had baited him and he took the bait.
Apparently he wrote a twitter comment on his account that read:
Tom Felton: emma
Which sat there for all to see and got taken off 2 minutes later after it was written. How did she found out? The wonders of the 20th Century invention called the web. Her devoted fans sent her a picture of his Tweet.
And she questioned it...
'What had that meant? Surely he meant Emma Stone...doubtful. But still, I doubt he would ever type my name...let alone in his tweet for all to see.'
And her heartbeat became rapid. 'Its nothing...just a mistake of letters...leave it alone.'
She left it alone and went on with her life, leaving her feelings for him on the back burner. But did he ever deny a kiss? No. And she wouldn't either.
The end of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 was heartbreaking for her. Everyone would move onto bigger and better things...and they have. She gave everyone of the cast a goodbye hug and Tom included. They hardly run into each other anymore. It wasn't until recently that things began...
