The worn wooden floorboards groaned as she stepped into the cabin, making sure to keep Wolfe in her line of sight. Garnet glanced around the room, sharp eyes seeing past the decrepit furnishings; memorising exits and blind spots with practiced ease and efficiency. "It's not much, but it's home. What do you think, pretty one?" Wolfe's words brought her attention back to him.
"I think it is wonderful! So cosy and warm," she replied, this he lies slipping off her tongue as easily as breathing.
"Well, pretty one, as you seem to like my home so much, maybe you would consider joining me here." Such innocent words for someone so terrible. "I have a feeling we shall enjoy one another's company very much, my dear." Words that would have fooled even the most intelligent of his prey: words that promised eternal happiness and love, though the malicious hunger in his sharp-toothed smile as his eyes roamed greedily over her body proved otherwise. Wolfe took a step closer, his calloused hand carressing her face. Shovong down the revulsion that made her skin crawl under his touch, Garnet also came closer, leaning into him as she slowly reached inside of her cloak. "I believe I would like that very much, Wolfe," she replied, smiling sweetly as she plunged the dagger into his cold, black heart.
