I swear Venti is going to drink all the wine I have. Kaeya was also here. I heard the door open and looked to see my father. (he's alive in this au) "Hello boys." "Hi Mr. Ragnvindr." Venti said somehow still sober. My father always treated Venti as his own due to his father being in a coma. I saw his father a lot as a kid, he was...no is a great man. Venti was 5 when he fell into a coma. He was asks Kaeya and I about him sometimes even Jean. She had known his father as she and I are the same age. Venti has little memory about his father. He does however know his father is Barbatos. My father sat at the stool between Kaeya and Venti. "Venti, Diluc I need to talk to you." He said. The bard raised an eyebrow. Kaeya looked away, that confused me. "Venti now that you are an adult I think you have a right to know what your father and I planned thirteen years ago you too Diluc." Now we were both confused. "When Venti was born his father and I signed an agreement that he and Diluc were to marry when Venti became an adult." My mouth dropped so did the glass I was cleaning. Venti nearly fell out of his seat. "Did you know?!?" I yelled at my brother. Thank Barbatos we were the only ones here. "I found out two weeks ago." he admitted. "I DON'T LIKE HIM LIKE THAT!!!" We both screamed. I guess Jean was walking by because she walked in. "So you told them?" she asked. "YOU KNEW!!" We both yelled. "Yep most people over twenty know. Venti your father was well known for his kindness so your arrange marriage went around fast." Jean said. "We had hoped to tell you when you were fourteen and ten so you two would grow up with that idea but his coma affected everyone so I put of telling you two for a long time." My father said. "You two were supposed to marry the day after Venti turned eighteen but as you see his is turning nineteen in four weeks." father said. "You two are to be married in two mouths." He finally said after a few minutes of silence. Jean sunk out trying to get away from the conversion before it got heated. "NO!" "I could have told you that." Kaeya said. "You are on thin ice," I said. Venti and I were barley friends. We had been close when we were little and back then yes I did have a crush on him but as we got older he would drink a lot. I would worry a lot about him and he didn't care he drank a dangerous amount of wine. I pushed my feelings down and it helped me worry less. I did feel Butterflys when dad told us but still pissed. When an arrange marriage is approved by the parents it official. Venti was yelling, Kaeya stayed quiet as he took a sip of his drink, my father just let Venti yell at him. I sat on a stool and just put my head on the counter this is going to be a long two mouth. I felt Kaeya pat my back as I sighed.
