IZUKU'S ROOM BEFORE BREAKFAST
IZUKU'S POV
*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
"Ugh" I groaned while shutting of the alarm.
I look over to the All Might alarm clock to see it says 6:00 AM.
"Why do I do this again?" I think out loud.
You see, I wake up at 6 AM every day to go and workout. While I may be able to make quirks and stuff, I must also be able to handle the drawbacks of each one which means I have to train. Now, some of you must be wondering about my quirk test and why I didn't get one yesterday. To answer this question, I should inform you that I have a deformity in my foot that was found out by, and x-ray done when I was 3. I had to go to the doctor to get an x-ray as I had broken my foot when my stepfather had accidentally dropped me when trying to stop Izumi from falling off the couch. He had been standing at the time and when he rushed to grab her, he didn't set me down completely and I landed on my foot breaking it. This had then, caused my foot to grow the wrong way and made a gap in a bone that shouldn't have been there. This ended up creating a new joint after a while and when I went back into the doctor to get and x-ray, they saw that I had 2 joints in my toe, and I was considered quirkless 4 months before I was supposed to get my test. Eventually, the news spread to the neighborhood and the school. This in turn, had caused many adults and some kids to look down on me, or even completely disregard me. Anyways back to my training.
I ran for a half hour and ran 5000 meters (approximately 3 miles) and once I finished, I did a half hour of abs workouts. I.E., pushups, sit-ups, crunches, planks, leg raises, and mountain climbers.
After I finished my workout, it was 7AM just around the time my family would wake up, so I decided to take a quick bath and just enjoy the warm water. Eventually it was time for breakfast, but once I got out of the tub and into my clothes for the day, there was no food left on the table. So I did the only logical thing I could think of, which was ask my mom why there wasn't any food for me.
"Mother, why isn't there any food left for me?" I inquired.
My mother turned around to respond to me.
"I'm sorry dear! I thought you had already eaten as I didn't see you at the table and you were taking a bath. You can get some breakfast at school now we need to go." She told me with a hint of remorse in her voice.
It was clear to me that she had just forgotten about feeding me and genuinely had thought I had eaten, but the worse part was she never checked on me. Instead, she was just pampering Izumi, which was fine in my book as I would do the same, but she could have at least made sure I was up this morning before doing her morning routine and seeing I was awake that way. That was a very awkward moment for me and her.
After we had gotten to the school Izumi had ran to go meet up with 'our' friends. I say 'our' friends because I prefer to hang out with them only when Izumi invites me as I prefer to be left alone. She ended up talking to them a bit before our kindergarten class had started. Our school is built just like a high school. It has multiple levels with multiple different classrooms for each grade and holds classrooms for grades K-8. K-2 are on the first floor, 3-5 are on the second floor, and 6-8 are on the third floor. Eventually Izumi and 'our' friends came over to talk to me with a smile on their face I couldn't quite place.
"Hey Izuku! Do you want to be a hero when you grow up?" Izumi asked me politely.
"I'm not sure quite yet," I started "but if you want to be one then I guess I'll be right by your side, supporting you the entire way."
